just wondering. cb400 top spd is around 170km. sp150 top spd is 180km. i wish 2 compare these bikes. other than sp150 being a 2 stroke bike of corse.

cb400 aka superfour(stock) top speed is 190km/h.. sp150's 180km/h comfirm is mod wan.. and alot of ppl say these 180km is like 150km at most..

we (cbr150 guys) went up there on 15th feb. and the staff there told us we were damn lucky cos 16th feb they shifting out. lol.

yeah do be extra careful bro. when its wet on the road.. i corner like a grandmother. don't care the vehicles horn me from behind. my life is more impt than them

 

anyhow no point riding fast n cornering sharp. us on motorbikes already take much less time to reach our destination compared to other modes of transport. so take it easy when you ride.

 

on the occasion that you feel like 'playing' with your bike, do choose a less traffic and familiar road. but do note that road conditions change. one moment you might be able to take that particular corner at 120km/h.. next a truck went by spilling small stones or theres a small puddle of oil leak from some vehicle.. its unpredictable.

 

slow riders live longer!

ya la.. but i was going about 1/3 lesser speed than my usual one cos of rain factor, yet can still slip. wonder why. rain, stones and oil make a lethal combination.

There are many potential killers who drives big nice cars live in the yck condo area aka Lentor. Almost met accident about 4 times since I start riding in Dec. There is once my top box was scratched and the paint was left on it as the Merc overtake very closely on the left.

 

why not overtake and play with your brake to irritate them? or road hog. i love to road hog the particular car especially when the car tried to squeeze in between a vehicle and me when the vehicle and me already occupy 2 lanes!! so many times i've seen cars invade my lane. just because we occupy lesser space, does that mean they can overtake so closely to us?

I am still a new rider and got no confident to challenge him. Furthermore he enter the filter lane and zoom off while I am heading straight to meet my friends at prata shop.

Hahaha... You are right. I still haven't use my horn or high beam. My friend told me if I purposely drive/ride unstable, these drivers dun dare to come near right? But I will look like a kuku and attract more attention.

I had about 200km on trip-meter 1 and 76km on trip-meter 2. Just last night I checked again and weirdly both trip-meters has gone back to zero.

 

I thought I might have reseted it on mistake so I tried riding just now and oddly both trip meter seems to have been shorted together.Meaning both trip meter would show the same mileage no matter which one I choose. For E.g I select trip-meter 1 and has clocked 23km, when I switched to trip-meter 2 it shows the exact same mileage(23km)

 

Any pulsarians experience this?

Of course lah the 2 meter show the same reading since you say that both are reset to zero. Even though you choose meter 1 for display, meter 2 still running. That is how its works.

This (the trip meter reset back to zero) happened to me when I crank the engine before the speedo needle return to zero during the startup of the bike. Most of the UG3 have this problem, that why for UG3 to have auto-start(alarm) you need relay timer.

My alarm is using special timer chip from Bro lindavw so now I don't have this problem anymore.

From my observations :

cranking engine before the rpm needle reset MAY result

1) trip meter reset

2) digi speedo backlight off

3) headlight off ( cant on unless off/on engine)

 

I was puzzled why my trip meter reseted when I first got my pulsar oso, questions all solved after I attended my first pulsar outing =) i rmb'ed lindavn was the one enlightening me thx again haha...

if that's the case, just forget it. but i seriously can't understand drivers who think their cars are as thin as motorcycles. got one time this funny car stop at the traffic light in between 2 bikes. but in the middle of lane 1 and 2.

use horn la. not happy, happily horn. make sure the driver steer clear away from you. but a friend of mine likes to horn even when he's squeezing in between lanes. supposedly to make the cars give way to him. lol..
