What exhaust tec is for?

The modification was srecret, but as time pass by I guess is no harm sharing the recipe. Maxima Full syntectic 5w50 + 200ml of Motor Up EO additive, NGK R platinum plug (avoid Iridium type, it is strong but dosen't last long as platinum plug in terms of long distance, go for iridium if you want go play racing instead of touring). SplitFire Low resistance spark plug cable. Air Intake Ioniser (Air charger), Superione (Fuel atomiser), Broquet (Fuel catalyst) and Raizin 98% stab (voltage stablizer), Platformate 103 RON(only put in sometime). As you can see I never disturb the engine. But only the combustion support system. Important is correct air and fuel ratio = max combustion possible = max power out from the engine. My mindset is easy modify the engine = you are looking for trouble (for certain engine types only). That's what I call my bike LD Spec (Long Distance Spec).

Bajaj has upgrade the P200 from carburator system to fuel injection system and some facelift for the P220 (which big possiblity Singapore will not bring in) for the year 2009 to keep up with the market in India. Currently Singapore at UM we have stocks of P200 carburator version. We just have to wait for few months until the fuel injection system, newer version of P200 to arrive. Hey SG Gaban, I was thinking of some thing. For the P200 exhaust, if you leave the Exhaust-Tec on the bike but cut the rear muffler and replace with Yoshimura Carbon Fibre exhaust, engine sure sound like pure evil yeah? At least the exhaust-tec is still there.

at UM, d bracket (monokey) itself cost 80 bucks+10 bucks labor (unbelivable!) the box 40 litres cost 80 bucks. u can go elsewhere to buy also can.

Hey Nemesis, sound like you know me. Yup the engine oil was drain empty. Mine was first hand. Just came back from JB for am Oil Change. I was suppose to ride this bike up to Negri Sembilan last week. But due sabotage that leds to overhaul. I ride up with my malaysia bike Naza GTR 150X (back up, 3 weeks old scooter). Yeah some one is going to take over my P180 (LD Spec). Until then I wait for the Pulsar 200 DTS-Fi (Fuel Injection series to arrive). Currently in UM is the carburated version. Must modified for Long Distance Spec after I buy a future P200Fi. My P180 has gone a lot of long distance already. KL-12 times, Melaka-3 times, Negri Sembilan-5 times.

 

I saw ur bike @ UM that day. Sad to see ur bike have being sabo. IMHO There are suppose some sign of sabotage. But anyway, done is done. Consider this bike have served u well.

Btw those who is using the older 180 version of pulsar...anyone got replace the whole exhaust unit with those silver chrome type?..Those black type like mine tends to rust easily..and my exhaust had been send for welding several times and respray black.

 

Saw the new 200 series exhaust and was wondering whether the new exhaust system can actual fit into those 180 series.Anyone do it already or ask about it at UM regarding whether it can be done?

hmmmm..... what is this air intake IONISER ??? care to explain more ? might be interest. Seem like better that Cold Air Intake.

There is a Chrome type for P180 (not using the P200's exhaust). It is the P180 UG1 exhaust. cost about 300++.

 

For current exhaust. we need to take care of it often. meaning... taking it out, sand it and spray it with High Temp Spray.

duno leh. i tried using a diff bracket at jb b4 using dis monokey. d mechanic back den had 2 weld n mod d braket. but the workmanship was lousy. thus i threw it away cos it looks senget. its is cheap though. hahaha!!

 

only monokey can fit in pulsar.
