hi guys,i just took over my gfs pulsar bike, am very new to the bike, just wanna ask how much does an overhaul cost over at um??,tot of doing it,a new beginning, u ffeel me, ahahaha, aniwaes keep me updated on the outings aite!!!!!especially d diy sessions!!!!, i loike diys!!!!got a lot to do on the bike as gf didn reli take care of it, as long as can start can already,now goteo leaking,any ideas outder???share share share!!!

Anyone interested in a wash bike session ? It will be done by D'GAPZ Bike Grooming.

 

A basic package of Wash, Chain Washing, 1 layer of wax & Polishing of metal parts. For onli SDG $15 buck.

 

 

 

We need a min of 5 bikes and they will come to our place to wash our bikes. Basic requirement is must have water. (prefer MSCP)

 

 

I personally have tried it with suvespa and were so impressed by the way they wash my bike. No strong water jet, No "anyhow" do and totally focus.

 

So any one wants to have their bike totally clean up ? Please put ur name below. Once got more than 5 bike, i will call and arrange a date.

not too sure about the overhaul price, but RoadRunner71 and firefox87 did it before. i think around $300-400. wait for them to reconfirm.

haha.. yeahh.. been surfing mainly the buy/sell pages since i was taking 2B lessons back in 2007. now i've got my pulsar its become more of the SBT and hands on threads. haha.. loving the bike so far. fuel consumption is like next to nothing so i dont really have to think twice before riding out. hehh.

 

oh yeah, at what mileage would an overhaul be neccesary? i bought my bike pretty new (FBB plate) but has run in a bit of mileage already, around 72k. just wondering what was the mileage when you guys overhauled your engines.

if it is black and sooty, i believe it means that your fuel mixture is too rich. you probably need to have your carb adjusted.

oh dearr. it was handed over to me at 71k haha. maybe previous owner was a tourer? still runs pretty smoothly though, no smoke or anything from the exhaust even when running hard or cold start. no problems starting at all too. so i dont really know what to repair on the bike.. yet. haha.
