hey hey! looks cool!! but would'nt it be more den enough 2 hav a 180 or 200 in Singapore? i mean 8 litres of tank? wats dat compared 2 our 17-19 litres? top spd is alsmot d same i think. correct me if im wrong. if ders soemthing special abt dis bike compared 2 d 180 or 200, plse enligthened me. :thumb:

NOw for the BAD NEWS....

 

There is no 200cc EFI pulsar. there is onli 220cc EFI pulsar. and dun think UM going to bring in the 220cc. Because most rider with 2A will buy even bigger CC bike..

Is it possible to get a pulsar 180 OTR 2nd hand under 4.5k for a 19yo p-plater?

I'm thinking of Krr or SP if the cost is too high.

more than enough bro.. now 2nd hand pulsar is getting lower. at most 2.5k. your insurance will be at most 900-1.1k. and that's 2nd party.

 

i think going for kup more worth.

hmmm... machine price less than 3k? isn't that cheaper than kupchais? also, with this bike, sure can top up jb at RM15 per full tank. normal pulsar is already so much worth it already if you top up jb. with a fuel consumption of 70km/l, every despatch rider will want to get this bike! cheap bike, cheap fuel, can top up jb. their only concern will be the price of spare parts and such.. this is the reason why x1 and wave are more popular than sparks for riders.

special? this is a super budget bike! good bike for those who are still in school, ns or saving money for a better bike. in times of recession, im sure this bike will be popular. with a machine price of 2-3k, resale value will be so much lower than x1 or wave. all i can say is i don't mind this bike. cos currently, im on a saving mode with not much priority on top speed. if i want speed, i will get a better bike later on.

Bros... sad to say... NO.. I checked with Johnny today, he told me there is no P200-FI only P220 and they dun intend to bring in P220. I checked with the Bajajauto webby and no indication of P200FI...

Pulsar has been a major hit in the market; it comes in four variants: Pulsar 150 DTSi, Pulsar 180 DTSi, Pulsar 200 DTSi & Pulsar 220 DTSi.

 

Bajaj Pulsar DTSi comes with a throttle actuated ignition-control system that works in conjunction with a chip-controlled digital capacitor discharge ignition (CDI) system for accurate ignition timing under all conditions.

 

The dual spark design accelerates and evens out flame propagation, which results in more efficient combustion and hence leads to better performance. The current generation Pulsar's 200cc engine delivers maximum power of 18 Bhp at 8000 rpm and a torque of 17.68 Nm at 6000 rpm.

 

The New Pulsar 200 Fi is expected to be more powerful with 19 Bhp of maximum power and 18 Nm of maximum torque.

 

Apart from the smashing look, Pulsar has lighter yet stronger alloy wheels, which when coupled with the longest wheelbase (1330mm) enhance the stability of the bike and at the same time make it more agile.

 

It has a perfect blend of style and functionality. The posture is very flexible. You can sit at ease on it, or you can go all-out and stick your nose into the petrol tank. Shocks are good, vibrations are minimal, Switches are laid out conveniently, there’s a tacho, a beam-flasher.

 

The pillion is also comfortable, except for the grab-bar, which is a bit too small. It gives a mileage of 45-50kmpl and Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTSi gives 55-60 kmpl. Overall it is very good bike with good looks, feel, handling and mileage.

regards to our Bike's Washing Day, can i know 'agak agak' wat time can finish everything?

Maybe I got problem lah with the timing...but hopefully can make it in time. Don't want to miss this BTMO .. surely exciting one... I want to see my 'naked P200' being scrub,soap, oil and massage... foooyooo.

hmm.. ic . thnxs for d enlightment. ur right abt d bike. now d main concern is d parts. i think pples main concern r d parts. well it depends. hopefully dis bike doesnt pose some probs like gear shifting, vibrations n such. m looking 4ward 2 test it if possible. :thumb:
