Is the Pulsar 200 Fi available in SG ?

I just realized there was a 200-FI when I thought it was only the 220 that was in FI version. But then again, it's quite hard to find accurate info on the web since Bajaj Pulsar official website doesn't show any info about the 200 anymore..

 

 

previously there were some discussions about the 200 Fi coming to singapore

but up till now all the 200 in singapore are the carb version

I wanted to ask, but don't know if it would be interesting for you guys, how about we get together for Pulsar School sessions? The purpose would be to show/explain/do basic maintenance servicing and sort of explain the bike to new or future users.

Maybe it will also benefit the more advanced users, as they might not know everything yet. Plus, it might help convince potential pulsarians to choose a Pulsar over other bikes

Althought I don't own a bike yet, I'm keen to learn how to..well, how to tear it apart - in a very gentle manner

I could go to a bike shop to do all that basic stuff, but if some things can be done without requiring a bike shop, I would love to learn, so that I get to know my future bike better and take care of it better.

 

Plus, such session can be the opportunity to see/dicuss mods or changes made to other pulsarians bikes, as well as getting to meet newbies and welcome them to the group !

And I had another idea. Ok this one can sound a bit over the top, but I realize by reading this thread that members often see Pulsars parked around their block or workplace and wonder who it belongs to. I was thinking, we could come up with a small flyer, promoting SBF & this team and our website and each of us would carry a few flyers with him/her on the bike. Everytime you see a "new" pulsar parked somewhere, you put a flyer on it: maybe the rider will be keen to join us here and meet with everyone!

 

 

I have the feeling that there are more and more Pulsars on the road. I have been eyeing this bike for 1.5 year now, and I remember, January 2008 it was very hard to find them on the road. Now, I can see Pulsars in Bugis, in Tampines, in AMK as well as Little india (Home of All Pulsars ). So there might be Pulsarians out there who would like to join our awesome group ! (Not to mention the fact that statistically I can't be the only Pulsar bikerette out there, there has to be others!)

 

 

Nemesis, maybe we can all spend some time discussing on next week BTMO to create our own exclusive decals for our pulsar team... like that more professional sia... and sure to attract ppl attention on our pulsar...

woots.. i know u r eager to tear the bike apart! but hold ur horses pulsarette! ha.. its a good idea but most of us have standard jobs and schools.. it will b hard to maintain the school due to the manpower needed.. we could invite ppl to our BTMO to show the maintenance stuff.. i tink thr are still admin work to be done also (who is coming, who is showin the lesson, etc etc) and then thr's the actual day itself (logistics, suitable location, ec etc) everyone would need to participate den..

i agree tt i see more and more pulsars ard on the roads.. my sch alone i have seen 2-3 already.. and tt is only in my faculty itself.. other facs still have.. but the leaflets things.. i tink SBT would b the first to do tt.. certainly we dun see honda CBRs doin tt.. or YBRs.. haha..

 

and dun worry abt you being the only pulsarette.. i've seen one of them in NTU sometime back when i went thr to fetch my girl.. NICE!

nice! i always hate it when ppl behind me have their lights so bright i cant look at the mirrors properly.. if we can fix this lights! i can help them experience wad i'm goin thru.. ha.. *ahem*.. but bright lights on a bike is good.. ppl get more aware of us.. but are we allowed to change to such bright lights? will pass inspection anot? and also.. tt HID set will definitely take up more power compared to our usual headlights.. nid extra battery nw?

I can see the enthusiastic in the new generation. All that have been suggested are all been suggested before. But due to lack of manpower and committment, all these ideal have been KIV.

 

The purpose of BTMO is to allow pulsarian to gather once a month despite their busy schedule. Long ago, pratically we meet up twice a week for chit-chat session and coffee session. Still there are displeased among riders. Request have been made AND BTMO have been setup.

 

All this while, I as a team leader have been covering from marketing, organiser, medic and attending Pulsar emergency call and so..... Thus i do not have enough time and effort to bring SBT to another level. (Now, u all should understant why i dun like to be called BOSS but prefer public servant)

 

I really welcome all the help i can get to get this team up to another level.

This BTMO I will explain to u all everything. So please be there

i think some of them were not pleased becos they were said to only attend DIY sessions but not meet ups.... tho meet ups were frequent back then, but mostly were organised very last min and hence the poor turn out.

 

but, thanks to our BOSS here... putting in so much effort to bring pulsar riders together and organising things well.

u juz need to get a street legal pipe. check with GPR. their should be able to provide u with more details. but from what i noe, if u got cert for the pipe, its legal provided ur bike is registered in the cert too

the problem is in so far.. seems like none of the brands have listed pulsar in their cert. I have checked with a number of advertisers in forum. none carry a legal pipe for us. if gpr have, I would have changed some months ago
