ya dun seal up ur air box n leave 2 hoses outside if kena water or wat kena suck in ur block need to open up n clean.

anyway have u tot of using a fan to push cold air in instead? this way seems ezier n better than 2 small fish tank air hose la.

Frankly speaking i actually got think b4 this idea n the fan i got standby liaoz but no time to DIY mount the fan only hahahaha,

thanks :cheeky:.

I hope you did not seal the airbox intake completely to your 2 hose.

It will be a good idea to use the hose to guide the cold air into the air box.

**But if you sealed the airbox intake to your hose, that means the only way air can get into your air box is via the 2 hose.

Going low with ** method, you can get get more cold air, but if you ride into floods, you bike will get choked. The worst case scenario is water entering your engine block at cause a big mess (water cannot be compressed).

Do keep us posted on your progress with your project.:thumb:

i did not seal it.. i jus direct it to my air box.. with the oem filter to block of the sand and duct.. then to my k&n filter.. (so don need wash that often) :cheeky:

btw the hose are jus nice under my sit. don think any big pipe can use liao..

i got think b4 using fan to direct it to my air box.. idea come from my friend's car.. but the fan and pipe(diameter more than 5cm) too Big to use on bikes..

i also cant find any pipe better.. next biggest i think can use washing machine pipe :cheeky:

Just went down to UMPL, BS battalax is out of stock, need to wait for 3 weeks time. Front - $80, rear - $90 plus $8 for the 2 x air valve (total $178).

HKL stock (for BS battalax T39) might be arriving on 14 this month, can check with them. I think their quota $170 for 90/80 for front and 110/70 for rear plus valves. Not so sure for the size, maybe other bros can help us on the this.

what, they pay you 1% of the cost of the tires for you to pick up the tires?

Speaking of tires, when my current BT39 front tire wears out i would like to change my tires to the Tubeless MRF Zappers. Those rear tires are HUGE. going to be a nice mix for better contact surface and durability.

Going to have my top end speed to go down and my fuel consumption to go up. But i think thats a good price to pay.

I only wonder if the standard mud guards will fit those tires.

the exhaust for the 200 is freaking huge. i think the size is similar to that of a pre revo, post pb1 cb400.
