What if you discover you have aids? And someone does not know and is interested in you. Will you allow him to still take you out and date you?

 

Not say aids. even as simple as a genectic disorder, maybe a disfigured backside or the inability to have children.

i think its ok for appearance bah.. coz my back, hands & legs oso disfigure due to accident ar... i find it ok ar. even ugly ppl oso will hv guys date them de ar...

 

As for unable to hv kids leh.. erm~ oso not a big prob. coz we oso can adopt & nowadays HightTech liao leh... no kids oso can hv kids lor. so dun worry for all tis.

i tin on a friend basis, of course, no problem, causal outing as a group~

 

but there will definitely come to a stage, where, both parties reli felt dead serious abt each other, and wish to advance their committment level to another level, then, at this point, honesty is greatly needed~

 

but of course,

if me (choy x 1000 touch wood), i wld reli start dropping hints along the way already~ ensuring he/she will be cushion by the news, so he/she will not be so badly hurt~

 

as each step proceeds,

the one who have whatsoever 'handicap' had to keep a real sober and clear mind, and

prepare himself or herself mentally and emotionally of the 'end' of the matter of this issue~

 

but as wat i said, this world is coming more and more chaos, more unknown diseases spreading, unsecure economy~

 

in the midst of so many uncertainties~

 

sometimes or i shld put in this way :

is a real blessing, and such quiet assurance and comfort,

that you know~

someone will always be there for you, no matter what happens~

this,

will reli give oneself such tremendous strength and hope to face an unknown tomorrow~

 

in Songs of Solomon, there is this 2 verses :

many waters cannot quench love~ and

love as strong as death~

 

that's mayb why~

i read recently in newspapers,

there are still ppl who married AIDS ppl ah~

Was remembering a conversation with my colleague.

 

She is a Mrs C, mature, has a good hubby who always flies around on business and she is working, because she wants to. Fairly well to do.

 

Mrs C has a male cousin who is newly wed. This male cousin is unfortunately not a money spinner and a chronic bad gambler.

 

Once, at a family outing. This male cousin commented to his wife, in full earshot of Mrs C and family:

 

"Look at C, her hubby talk to her fiercely and she is still so gentle to her hubby. Why can't you be like that?"

 

To which, his wife replied:

 

"Yah. but her hubby brings money home, do you?"

The point being. Mrs C does not mind being talked to 'fiercely' cos she does not find that talking to is 'fierce'.

 

And no. She does not need to contribute to the family. The hubby takes care of all financial aspect of the marriage, including the children and provides an allowance for the wife even though she is working.

 

In other areas, because the hubby is always flying around, he leaves all major decisions to the wiffey. All in all, the hubby was actually a good hubby, and not those fierce macho types typically seen or mistaken to be those big hubby man.

 

I guess my point is. If you expect to be treated well or have the right to be 'fierce'; you need to do your part before you can demand that right.

Ar......that is because you never sian a half deaf gal before.

 

I got one, she is pretty, creative, very sweet and really nice. And she is going deaf. Serious. I think its a progressive deafness problem.

I have always believed that everything that we do is a result of our decision.

 

One decides if he/she wants to start a relationship with another person,

You decide to marry the man/woman of ur life, etc.

 

The marriage vow is also the promise of a decision to stay with your partner for better or worse, in sickness or in good health.. So there is not such things as cannot help it, it's all excuses..

 

Even when facing temptation, it's still your own decision whether to give in or not. Simple example: all of us does do simple shopping, you'll have some things that you are tempted to buy though you know that your financial ability doesn't allow you to. But yet, when you CHOSE to buy that item against all odds, then dun blame the item for tempting you coz it's a decision that you make. Note: you have a choice to walk away from that temptation.

 

Sorry, I may not have been married but I believe that once my partner is unfaithful, there's no need for any discussion anymore.. To me, if he knows that having an affair will hurt me tremendously, yet he still went ahead with it, this already tells me how much he "loves" me..

 

Finding excuses for him or focusing on the good times we had is only going to add more salt to my wound coz I'll be wondering, the man who claims to love me that much is also hurting me equally deep..

But ive always been faithful person. BUT all i get in return is a string of heartbreaks & sufferings..

 

Why must nice people always suffer to this extent? We do so much for our partners & its not reciprocated. Why cant guys be faithful & be contented with one? If you are so desperate for multiple partners why cant u be single & satisfy yourself with ur flirting habits? Why must you hurt an innocent soul? Why?
