KAWASAKI KRR150 or APRILIA RS125

no problem for me having an Aprilia as my first bike. But i must say the maintaining it is really high. Drinks petrol and must service very regularly. And a little dangerous to bring it to JB when wanna pump petrol too. haha.

well artsy, u can use this as part of ur base for ur 1st 'assult' or rather, to persuade ur fren, looking at the agenda of u n him pacting to get same bike..

im not sure about runnin in..basically for 1st hand its obviously never used b4..so it needs time to get the oil and what nots running up and abt..the details of running not too sure, ur fren needs to ask all he can abt running in on his 1st hand bike..

 

2nd hand bikes,frm wat i noe, its generally after overhaul (correct me if im wrong here or anywhere)..overhaul is when u basically change alot of ur inner bike parts esp the main inner parts..and thus, having new parts also need to get used to the what nots..

 

and in this phase from wat i know, u cant whack bike much..whack is like throttle too fast and stuff..but there's this breaking in the bike fast thingie which im also not too sure ah..ahx..mebe the pros can help out on this one..cuz i know not much abt it..jus a baby out on the roads..hehex.. :cheeky:

So that is what whacking is all about. Tell me a little bit more about the Kawasaki KRR150 since i am getting it. I would like to compare it with the Aprilia RS125.

Indeed i can go to and fro from the KRR thread and Aprilia's (which i am already doing and find it tiresome. To make matters worse, i don't understand most of the pseudonyms used.) The reason i am starting this thread is for the original purpose of comparing between the two bikes and most importantly, how am i going to convince my friend.

hehex..ok, lol..i see..understooded..anyways..just let this thread run..im sure there'll be most posts later on..if u wanna look for specs, theres always alot of info online..depends on wat kinda info tat u want..my guess is pple will answer if u ask..the thing is, u wun know what to ask right? just ask simple stuffs first..start with buying a machine (can be from forumers at Garage Sale, own friends or private sellers outside, or shops)..then on with the basic maintainance or maybe you myt wanna call it daily care & expenses (or when ever it is appropriate, can be monthly care & expenses as well), then on to other maintainance..hmm...that should be it..

I know nuts..Why not ask those who talk so much about portin here and there and how a friend or friends of the person got race usin a ported bike and stuff..From the way the person/s replied they know much more than a newbie like me..

I am halfway through my practicals and am interested in the KRR. But my buddy has switched side to the Aprilia. His TP is coming soon. How do i convince him otherwise?

how to elaborate. hehz.. shld put it this way, both bike standard, fuel cons. kinda dun dry ur pocket. e diff between both bike is, krr and RS are light weight but stability wise, rs much more stable on high speed.
