I believe the requirements are for a full face helmet.

Personally, I would advise you against using a flip up helmet. Unlike a full face helmet where the chin guard is a completely assembly with the helmet and therefore stronger.... the flip chin guard is only as strong as the locking pin of the lock down device.

Really.... in the end its how much you value your face but then again.. its your choice, its your life.

thanks for the heads up mann ... appreciate it.

From what i've observed, yes you can use a flip-up helmet at PG. Please be careful if you do though.

I will ... just in case anything happen ... i'll try to travel as safely as possible ... maybe 50-60 km/hr ... hehehe ... appreciate the time taken to enlighten me.

I tink its because u never went to PG before..i personally tink its almost impossible to just travel at 50-60km/hr. Plus..if u really wan to travel at that speed, I would strongly discourage u fr goin to track. U will be a real hazard on track..

Anyway back to ur helmet lah...like wat the other riders said...its ur choice...

FF are definitely better than flip-ups in terms of safety...choose wisely

The only way to find love isn't finding the perfect person, but by loving the imperfect person perfectly. True love doesn't have a good ending. It simply doesn't end.

Woah dude, PG is a racetrack.

So it isn't a place where one can "try out" track riding in a leisurely pace.

In fact, everybody goes twice or triple than that of your intended 50km/h speed.

Flipup FF? I second the comments left here by the members here too.

Worse comes to worst: Weakest link = pivot point of that helmet.
