Maybe ASEAN should start a regional competition for all . Since most of the ASEAN countries (singapore included) already have a racing track and have the same passion for underbone bikes (a.k.a cubs) racing . SMSA can lead the initiative and propose to the motorsport association of all the ASEAN member countries for this kind of event . It can be done (constructors vs. constructors) like motogp or (country vs. country) . The possibilities are endless . The SMSA can surely do something to promote the motoring culture in singapore and in the same time pit some of our best riders with the best in this region . Maybe we can produce a MotoGP rider like the indons !!

Hope the race scene (especially cubs) will be more and more happening now that we've got a 'Home' track. Of cos, hope too that the Yamaha & Honda ASEAN cups will throw a leg over here.

Excellent efforts by the guys at singapore circuit and you folks (yeah jackson yourself and william included) at smsa.

this is a good idea that would pledge more $$$ for the sport & sponsors may be willing to come forward when they know their $$$ is worth the dollars. we will then need no longer be envious of our counterparts & neighbours...Just hoping that the sport would grow healthyly...over here a little bit of negative reports/complaints by public & all the dream will go kapuut! :goodluck:

Hope not. Shouldn't be the case. 2strokers take up around 60 bikes in the cub prix. Killing the category is akin to killing the race (almost).
