fuel consumption abt 22-30+ km per litre.

engine mounting, bearing, etc...

maybe shld ask the seller how many previous owner...?

there are previous post regarding this question... but i dunno which page...

road tax only $8 more for old bike..

as for skipper parts, not that expensive, cos its a budget bike =D

but depend on which part u are getting.

skipper belt last ard 10,000km and runner belt ard 12,000km

i tried 100km/h on my bike b4

riding posture... relaxing

tank how many L? any res as well? riding a wave now. feel like trying out a skipper. thought the road tax is 50% more or something...so every 4 months or so need to replace belt...how much does this cost? belt plus rollers and all right? the fuel consumption quite high for a small 125cc bike yeh...any way to inprove it?

8 litres, including 1.5 litres reserve..

You intend to sell away your wave and get a skipper?

normally is 6 mths once, depending on the distance you travel every day..

yup belt and roller... forgot the price already... but cfm not more than $100.

ways to improve consumption.... hmmm..

1 full tank can last for 1/2 month or even more...

dun ride the bike out... =P :cheeky: :cheeky:

I think our skipper 'gang' are having an outing next wk... you might be interested to come along for the outing.. maybe test ride their bikes? o_O

hey phatish. guess our dear myusha answered most of ur question. thing i learn frm old timer's tt auto-bikes dun equate to low fuel consumption. only ways to improve FC's improved riding style (makes a diff of 1-3km/l) and tuning.

besides tt skipper's auto, i dun see a reason for ur switch frm wave. overall, i think u r better off with a wave...if u like the bike tt is.

myusha>> signs are telling u to get another skipper!! or are they din pick up skippers because u riding one? juz j/k! no offence yeah? ;)

frankly speaking..skipper gang would love to have u back!! (or should i say A SKIPPER IN PARTICULAR..heheh... )

btw...check this out!!

I think riding during rain is dangerous, not just skipper, but all bikes bah...

whether the bike will skid depends on the tyre you are getting and the speed you are travelling... =D

Skipper already not very fast. It quite light as well. Put wind shield will reduce speed and increase chance is wobbling during turbulence. :giddy: Sure you want the shield? I used to see people putting half shield last time though.

OLD NO GO, NEW NO COME.

How far can a skipper go with a full tank?

tt's a good question. my test for skipper's full cap din go too far tt time. here's the figures.

went ard 7 litres on 230+km(on meter) so tt's roughly 32-34km/l.

SK>> take care man. how long will u be back btw??

ah han>> can check with oryx. think he did tt change to his bike too. price ard there?? roller's located in the transmission box where the belt is. there's 6 in there. still curious? i'm changing mine with kilkenny soon. so pop by if u have time.

scarab>> guess we're juz desperate to do mods to our skipper.

kaieiru>> can try find out. too bad i din pay much attention to spacy back in ns days.
