Hi all, i am getting a super4 soon. ( hopefully tml ) ... just some questions.

(1) i am intending to install street legal pipe. any to intro? and what is the price range.

(2)Oh ya is there possibility that my slip on endcan might get stolen? if yes how to prevent it? ( alarm is a no no i guess )...

(3)i need to change a good rear brake pad. how much would it be?

(4)My insurance for 3rd party is 600plus while fire theft is 1100 plus. which one should i get?

(5) what should a normal service of super4 include?

 

btw i am getting a spec2...

 

additional question: do i need to bring my logcard if i am selling my current bike? ( cause i think i lost it alrd)

A1) there's many St legal pipe available.. from fullsystem to endcan only.. prices ranges from as cheap as $500 (GPR endcan) to $1600 (Moriwaki FS)..

 

A2) Stolen? Yes, possible.. many ways to prevent it.. security screws, alarms, locks, etc..

 

A3) rear pads ranges from cheap as $10 to more ex ones $30.. no point changing very good ones.. IMO, a normal Goldfren or Newfren brakepad ($30)is enough.. rem braking is 70% front 30% rear..

 

A4) why your insurance so high? you got loading? or you are very young(19yr old)? IMO, get a fire and theft, crime and arson rates are getting high in SG, low crime doesnt mean no crimes..

 

A5) normal service would include Engine Oil and Oil Filter(every 5K, normally).. costs abt $70 to $100 depending on the type of oils you use.. sparkplugs for every 3 services(normally)..

 

answer to last qns, no need to.. the shop can print your log card..

 

lastly, enjoy your new S4.. ask around for market price...!!
