double dripper..

how much work required to make this guy??

anyway great job man..

For the double dripper, its not really difficult to do, need to get the smallest size Y union, on both ends insert 2 equal length of tubing (hard type). At the end of the tubing, heat up slightly and compress the ends, purpose is to insert the cable tie later.

Cut 2 cable tie equal length as dripper (snip both end using the smallest cable) bent the cable ties corrugated side inward about 30 degree ( purpose is for the cable tie to touch the sprocket as oil will glide on the corrugated side) and insert into the tubing.

Finally make a metal frame using wire (hard type) for holding the Y-union to the swing arm, at the wire end I bent a loop and use spring washer, screw and nut and to secure the Y union (making use of its existing hole on the Y union)

For the DIY dual dripper to flow oil equally to the sprockets, it has to be at an angle approx 45 degree pointing down.

i see..okay..i thought u need to a specially designed splitter to achieve the compact dual oiling tip..

i notice u are using some sort of quick release pneumatic connectors..

i will try that real soon..thanks for all the tips..

so like, how does it help the bike?

it look like u have not meddle with chain maintenance...search it on the web..for chain oiler..all the infor u require is there..

all the good things u do for your bike..eo , v power, spark plug, air filter changes/claening etc.....

but if the chain is not maintained well....u loose HP during the power transmision to the wheel......further more wear and tear increases on your chain, Fc goes up..a noisy ride..It is recommended that the chain need to be CLEANED AND LUB once every 500km.or earlier if the environment is dusty or muddy or in the rain..etc.

just do the arithmatic...a chain and sprocket will set u back $150?? for phantoms...the diy oiler estimates that your chain life can be increased by 5-7x..ie $150x5=$750..(.what a no brainer )solution tht cost u less than cup of coffee in a hotel ...u save $750???

just do a simple trial..lub your chain the lazy way...grab an expensive chain spray..spray the lubber on to the chain and take it for a ride..immediately you can feel the diff..but if u dont clean the chain properly u are making gool cakes that eventually will wear out the chain/sprocket...

the oiler makes cleaning and oiling easy...

good luck ...see how u like to maintain the chain the traditional way or with spray lubbs or the diy oiler.
