Yep, nuttybing is correct. A dual pole switch is necessary to keep the left/right circuits separated when the hazard light function is not activated.

oh.. so that is the 2 switch method right ?

Uncle koh, we are doing the single switch method i suppose?

u have to add a dpst switch...this is to turn on the hazard lights only..

or u add a single pole switch to run one of the signals..ie use existing and diy switch...2 switches to run both signals together...but u most probably end up with alternating flashes.

Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience every time:dot:

hi,

mepkoh: so will you be able to help me with the pilot light?

i really hope to get that onto my bike : )

i am riding phantom ta200.

thanks

if u intend to use the ta200 signal lights as a pilot light..things need to change/add

1.the current signal lamps unable to support the signals and pilot light.

u need to get a set of signal lamps that can accept a bulb like the brake bulb...one with 2 filaments in it.

2. install power supply to that bulb via a switch to control the pilot light.

or install standalone lamps for this purpose...

lab..only have relay...10wx2 +1.7 w...only..

so didnt buy tr

the relay...

anyone knows where to get the larger wattage relay 23w to 25w type..if not avialable..the diy may be aborted..unless the alternative method is used..ie

to hook up circuit to run 1 set of signals eg right signal and use the bike left signals.

together they can function as a hazard lights with all the lights blinking ..there is one slight issue..is that the left and right signals may blink alternately.

57 jln besar aka jinda do not have relays too
