yes, tat's our tmax stator coil, kinda big for a scooter

 

generates out 495w at 5000rpm

efi to tmax apart frm dbl front discs n fuei injection,rear wheel is broader thus the bike becomes more stable,sounds alot nicer n transmission internally is a whole lot neater (cheeko has seen,his is carb n is wet inside meaning with oil/grease,efi max is dry n very neatly composed)

 

between efi max n black max,basically the only diff is the colour scheme.

 

i hope i have ans ur qns..feel free to look up previous postings for more info,if ya lazy,its ok to ask..tmax thread very friendly..will ans to ur qns if we know..just dun ask things like the screw behind the main mask,above the headlights 90degrees left of the air filter is wad size..tt i have no ans to tt..if i still have the bike i`ll opn out n check for u

the photo above looks like a carb model tmax, but i'm kinda wondering how did the owner install a twin disc brake onto his scooty

hmmm...fork leg change, front rim change, buy extra disc, caliper, hose, linkage system...hmmm sounds like itz not an easy convertion.

ya,u change change change so many things its still a carb max.rather u spent the money on a '04 up max or even a new max.in japan,after market parts alot cheaper n more specialist avail..in sg,reli need alot of effort n money.when u calculate,like not so worth it la..

i ahve went for the recall.it was becuz of the position sensor at the injection body,not becuz of the tensioner.

hi to all, ridding without the rack and box on the tmax is really shiok..

well anyway, i have lowered my front fork 1cm lower from hong leong..

 

hoping it will swift the weight distribution slightly more forward.. any comments about this ?

 

would like to lower more this time.. maybe another 2cm.. just afraid it may hit the mudguard..

 

dun know which shop is good at this.. also wana install the digital voltmeter.. any recommendation..
