No....what i meant was this...I was riding with two Blades and when they saw me behind they started to increase the pace to throw me far behind but after a few corners one of them ended in the drain.

 

The video will tell a better story. I will post it in a few days.

i forgot, there is another nice maxi taiwan scooty call xciting500 from kymco. U can consider tat bike too. Looks nice too

The only other Scooter that rocks me will be the Honda Griffon but this bike disappeared after being shown at Motorshows in 2003.

i have a question, when u got ur tmax initially, did ur group of riding buddies riding superbikes pass skeptical comments abt the scoot

Of course they did. Even more so after my maiden ride up Awana as i was unable to ride hard as the engine has not run-in so many of them left me behind.

 

But the comments turn a little less so after the ride downhill as engine power was not so important as i left a number of superbikes behind.

 

Even the least interested were examining the scooter more closely after I rode with them after the bike was run-in.

How much is a new Tmax in Sg? What performance accesories are available in Sg? I'm looking for variators, suspension and any other mods to improve power and handling.

I'm sure the Tmax can take another 15 HP along with improved handling as I find the rear is a bit soft for sportsriding work.

Any help will be much appreciated as I wuold like to do Sepang track days with my bike.

for variator,there is the Pollini Speed ctrl.i changed tt b4...works quite well...u can try...but i recomend u to fix in sg...coz i dunno u have the expertise in m'sia anot...coz i`ve done it here n they can do it for u too...but then hv to order.

I think the installation is no issue here in KL. The boys here are very familiar with CVTs. Ever night I see CVT two wheelers, scooters included being wheelied back and forth.

There should be Polini and malossi right? Which is better do you know? Malossi is a more familiar brand here.

hhmmm...nv tried the malossi...but tried the polini..but hearsay malossi is more for track use...polini better for rd n track combined...so i chose the polini over the malossi..

mrmaggo was the one who introduced & recommended TMax to me. I was contemplating of getting a Majesty250 after letting go my F3 and I seek his advice. Lucky I did that or today I will be looking for another bike to fulfill my conquering twisties desire

 

There are high probability that I will be transferred to Shah Alam by April. Hoping to join you in your Sunday Awana ride.

Hope your transfer takes place. Will be happy to take you up Awana on the weekends. In fact, this sunday I'll be going up again ( yawn ....what's new:smile: ) but have not decided if it onna be the Max, the Boxercup or the Smart. Most likely the Smart as i may want to join the Evo / Sti gang who are having their club drive. I wanna see how far they can leave my Smart behind in the twisties....

 

Anyway, I just came home from Kota Baru via the Gua Musang - Simpang Pulai road ........... I'm in again with the road. The scenery, the corners, the lack of traffic, the twisties, the sweepers, the grippy road surface...everything about the road is just awesome. Even though I was driving my Ah Beng Merc instead of riding, and have my wife and kid with me, the road was still enjoyable.

 

We did ride together before from Simpang Pulai to Camerons sometime in 05 right?

 

Must do the route again, perhaps with our SG Tmax riders....any takers????

yo madtmax, were u skectical of Mrmagoo when he recommend u the tmax

 

I was too when i read all those magzines & reviews at 1st. Cos have own the x9200 for a short while, the frequent servicing & maintenance required made it more expensive in the long run. Really cannot make it, so sold it off quickly.

eeer..... mrmagoo & madtmax, i think i temporary wana stop playing corners for a while, i think i will have a bad headache for next few weeks

 

 

I think ongbak is busy training in the gym at the moment. No time to come out. And so far din manage to see any active tmax owners around too
