hi guys was just wondering whether u guys have used STP octane booster/cleaner on your rides before....just bought a bottle for $25 and the results are quite good....lesser engine vibrations more power etc....and there are the cheaper kinds such as octane booster and fuel cleaner all from STP....the bottle say they can be used regularly.....and i dont mind paying 6.50 for a bottle of fuel cleaner if it helps to prevent wear adn tear and help with the overall performance of the engine...but was just wondeirng if there are any side effects...so posting here.....sorry if this is in the wrong thread

Think some STP products are made from 'Jet Fuel'... and that means kerosene.

that will also depends if your scooter is having metal tank or plastic tank. adding of addictive can be done but some of the addictive is good for engine but not good for your petrol tank.

 

if you are already using high octane petrol(98), no point to add in the addictive. just my own opinion.

no active trips since 2006
