hi bros, went to different bike shop all gave me different solution.

1. my handle bar seems to wobble at certain RPM and Speed and sometimes it doesn't. what can i know? some say change cone bearing, some say just tighten it, some even tell me to change fork. the best one is to pump my front tyre (which is already swelling)

2. how can i improve my braking? for the most value method shall do, just need to improve it. is it change brake lines? (i dunno why the lines are that impt that many bike shops will recommend me $$?) or change brake pads? btw, brake pumps are wayyyyyy too ex to change.

for your inputs and perusal bros.

Assuming you have never dropped your bike b4.

1.

a) Tyres worn or out of balance.

b) Swingarm prematurely worn or damage..only if you ahve jack up your back with posh installed to your back suspension mountings.

c) Worn front wheel bearings.

d) Handle bar clamps loose.

e) Fork yoke bolt loose.

f) Engine mounting bolts loose. Will cause excessive vibration with increase rpm.

2) Steel brake hose does not flex when you squeeze the level..can call it 'realtime' pressure to your brake piston. Different type of brake pads perform differently according to the material its made off..changes not drastic.

1. If your tyre start to swell already, its time to change the tyre bro...if your cone bearing is new, juz tightening it will do...but after a certain tyme, it will start to wear out, which indicate a change is needed...

2.Changing brake lines to steel braided ones is a good investment i muz say..it does improve the feel of braking...if im not wrong, rubber brake lines do expand a lil wen under high pressure, i think the steel braided lines eliminates that...as for brake pads, u can go for better quality ones like Braking or Goldfren..dey do hav good reviews...brake pads also have this ratings which im still figuring out how to comprehend...

Hope it helps bro...

1) handle bar wobble at certain speed, not by rpm. at different gear, different rpm, speed is different. wat might b the possible cause?

a) bearings (cone, front n rear wheel)

b) worn tyres

c) fork setting (tightening to with required torque n servicing)

d) rear shock

d) bike setting out due to installation of box (that happens to all bikes)

have u done any of those above servicing?

2) to improve braking, steel braided lines r introduced cos steel braided lines r able to withstand expansion due to heat hence maintaining the braking pressure required to b applied. rubber hoses r expandable when heat is introduced. where does heat comes from? sunny singapore n heat generation during braking r the reason. but ultimately, its the bleeding that counts. a good brake pad is oso a bonus to good braking. brake pump? too ex n not necessary for street use.
