how much insurance do you pay for 3 bikes? esp if for example, your bike is those cheap ones, how to justify the insurance paid to maintain all 3?

You decide if it's justified or not. Your money, your decision.

If based purely on dollars and sense, owning 5 bikes will never be justified.

a question to ask. so if u have 3 motorbikes, can u buy insurance for all 3 under the same company at a discount? would it be the same price as insurance for 3 individual bikes?

fleet insurance

I own an RZ350 (4uo) and an XL200.

XL200 for transport cause it's cheap, relax to ride, and doesn't look too bad either.

RZ350 whenever the traffic is lighter and can go faster or whenever i just feel like it la.

And no, it's not really that expensive, well at least not yet, anyway.

boring rider. with a boring bike.

too old to want to appear interesting anymore.

Hi

It's ok to own more than 1 bike if u can afford it. for me i prefer different types of engine so as to enjoy different types of performance.

currently i run a zephyr750 and R65Ls. the zephyr is a typical UJM with inline 4 engine.

It has the basic performance of an inline 4. very smooth, and it's effortless in pick up. The R65 is a boxer twin. It's torquy n easy at curvey rd. I ride one to work every alternate day. I enjoy the different ride.

I own 3 bikes currently...

1 Wave 125, 1 Kawasaki '04 ZX10R and a '98 Ducati 916.

I laid up my 916 for about 1 year already.

basically it depends on how much yr income is and whether u can afford it.

my wave is for my transport for work and errands and my ZX10R for tours and track.

My Dream Car, see who wants to cut my lane and tail-gate me......

didn't read through the thread... haha. lazy...

i presently have a TA200 + Spec III

fully paid for both.

got the TA after my 2B, and it wasn't tough to pay off as was just 1+++k

started saving up again after 2B and after about a year, got my Spec III also fully paid

2 separate insurances for both. have heard about fleet insurance but no idea how to go about it

only reason i sull have the TA is coz no shops gave me a good price for trade in, best i got was only S$700 for pretty well maintained machine with 3 box setup. so didn't bother trying to sell it... it's now being used by my buddy who's "paying" me in installments without doing an ownership transfer cos we trust each other enough to not bother with that. also it increases the # of ownership, so told him to go look for a good deal bike and use it to trade in or sell off before the COE runs out (FV plate)

i'm presently using the Spec III for my daily bike & have not decided what i want for a class 2 bike... after i pass at the end of the year of course.

but if i manage to save up enough again, then prolly keep the Spec III for daily use and maybe the Cl 2 bike for weekend use.

Grounded... :/
