i pump spc98 cause its near my house. however i hear from my friends that it will damage the engine in long run. is this true? most of my friends pump esso or shell though.

bike manual says minimum octane is RON 91 ,

so even you use RON 92 it's still safe.

spc fuels are not that bad..my fren's car has been using spc fuels eversince he got his license and he says its not much diff from all those international branded fuels which he uses occasionally..

i personally pump SPC 95/98 for good 2 years plus. Not much diff from de rest, plus if u got DBS or POSB card got extra % off. ahha

imo.. all the petrol offered by the different stations are sama sama.. see which 1 u prefer.. 95 & above for S4 is ok bah.. if spc98 will spoil yr S4 engine in the long run.. i guess by that time.. u might have stop riding or change bike liaoz..

As for me i normally go Esso & pump their 98, cos im using fleet card discount
