1. I am a chinese, so I do have a decent amount of respect for the festival.

 

2. I am rather on the YANG side, so it does not occur to me. Which I think is a blessing.

 

3. Due to work requirements, I won't stop riding. Ever.

i believe, maybe learn to respect things like not stepping on those burn marks or incense paper.

my colleague a auntie suddenly mentioned to me...pls try not to ride..this year ghost festival must watch out...after i listen i like...STONE...she sound like a angle with light at the background giving me warning...think i better :pray: hard

So are you going to give up your ride for about a month, which means to bear with public transport during this period? I don't think that's feasible.

 

Yet, what can be done is ride with more vigilance and discipline. Just have to enhance focusing during this period.

 

Festival ???

 

I still not understand why the word "festival" ?

 

There are celebrations in the forms of GETAIS around. It's not only a time for the spirits in netherworld to be back here, but also a time to remember our love ones whom had passed on. Though Hungry Ghost Festival may not sound much convincing as a joyous event, it has it's significance to the living.

tats y i always put on my single seater n fold up my pillion foot rest 2 reduce the risk... :lol:

And don't forget to wear extra "protection" when u ride.... :giddy:

 

dont really understand... extra protection as in wear gloves long sleeves or what... well.. later TP stop u, coz pillion no helmet... or always pillion sumone if can lor...
