was asking my frineds to go East Coast Park for cycle...but cant cause her mother dont allow her to go anu surrounding that have water..hmmm

ghost are quite powerful these days. They pounce out from the waters, dart right across the sands, after cyclist at top speed and wrestle them to the ground. After that the victims are dragged back into the dark waters...

Sum offer food to 'them', but wat if stray pets go & eat them first,will they share food w/ 'them'??

I was told not to step onto the ashes but wat if on the road i pass through haf peeps give offering & lots of the ashes flying all over the place,shall i stop for a while,wait for it to clear or sumting??

 

Then they stray animals will get haunted by the spirits! haha...

 

Just try to avoid crossing them. Keep a distance if possible. Apply defensive rule concept. If it's accidental it should not matter, just mutter an apology will do.

 

No offence..But aren't they provided bins to burn the incense and whatnot? 2 days ago I parked at the usual spot (bike lot)..Only to see an auntie burnin the incense/paper/joss sticks on the pavement right beside my bike..Not only beside mine but beside several others also..

 

For this month, try avoid the spots where ppl burn the offerings. The spirits don't get attached to your ride, but the ashes will. Not a good sight when you are getting ready to ride off. As far as I know, most Singaporeans are not considerate. They bother more about their own convenience.

is okay one, as long as you dont do it intentionally to step or go over

the burning ashes. as for those food we offer, 'they' dont eat it, 'they'

burning the offerings on the floor are a traditional way from many many years back til now and its not that they are inconsiderate.. its just tradition.. for the bins some choose not to burn because they dun think their love ones from other side will recieve it if they use it and we chinese tend to burn offerings directly inline with our house.. thats wat i have been doing from small.. theres alot of other believes too... mine is just 1 of the many different chinese believes ^^

When I was small..My neighbour used to burn right in front of his house in a tiny bin..Smoke was just about everywhere..But thats just some of the little things my family had to put up with..From what I can remember..My neighbours back then were really nice people..Best neighbours (along the whole row of corridors) I ever had..Till one by one they moved..Moved to bigger houses..

They are technically everywhere, the difference is whether you can see them or not. If yes, it might not be a good thing since it implies that your "ying" level is rather high. Btw, our yang level should always be higher.

 

I have my respects for them, but there is no need to be scared. Humans are the most devilish beings around already.
