After the creation of man

God saw there was something missing

But it was not nature

For it was already beautiful

It was not the animals

For they had been before

It was not wisdom

For man would surely reach it

And on the 7th day he knew

What had been forgotten

Yo guys,

I just changed my taillight to the 3in1 version. Found out that my tailboard fairing cant close properly. Also theres a gap between the pillion seat and the tailboard

1) How do i actually lower my pillion seat so that the gap will be closed nicely?

2) As for the taillight, i need to file it to fit nicely right?

Thanks in advance guys

i'll answer to both of your questions..

first of all yes you need to cut using the circular kind of cutter which is normally done by the bike shop.. if they are lazy normally they do a slip-shot work which is anyhow cut then put in.. that causes ur fairing to unable to close properly leaving gap in between the fairing and also making ur seat look as if its not fully closed.

2ndly after they cut liao they still have to put a long spring under the tailight area to secure both sides of the fairing so that it would not look like its split-opened which also will affect the top part and thus causing i to look like your seat could not be closed properly .

the other time i brought my friend to Eddy Ong to get it done as the bike shop he went to install the 3-in 1 didnt did a good job.. i am scolded by hahah!

he said that it takes quite some work and time to do the job as u need to cut then fix to try and if cannot cut again.. thats why normally the people who fix do a slip-shot work of it. haha he told me next time not to bring ppl to do that thing again.. wat he say was if people he dunno go there to ask him do.. he rather not earn that money as it is very troublesome....

firstly its nt up to us to say anything.. its what u really want .

1.if u want to use your bike as transport only.. what i reccomend is that you stick to your X1.. if u want something more power then go ahead with your KRR..

2. its hard to tell the price.. depending on the plate ... since you are going to get from bike shop, it can easily cost $2800 - $3500 inclusive of insurance la.. and fees.. gst... etc.. for a 1-2 yr bike . might be more .. .. go get quotation around a few shops.. and get someone who is familliar to go with you to check out things like engine.. steering cone bearing.. brakes... etc....

3.is your x1 fully paid? or still got installment? of cus pushing in a bike shop will fetch u a lower price then selling it to a friend.

hope your questions are answered.. price wise i not really sure but its roughly around the price..

*disclaimer* - my 2 cents worth of advice.. dont come flame me if i get it wrong :giddy:

I filed mine again after it has been installed..It fits nicely now..Maybe when I'm not lazy I'll take it out again to make it perfect..

Have fun..

aye.. fellow emo-ranger.. if u are lazy can always send to bike shop be it in sg or msia.. they'll do it for u for a small sum of money la.. but always go back to the shop that fix it for u and they'll do it for free if u complain to them as they already charged u labour fee so i dont see a point why they cant do a good job when they charge u for the item and also additional labour fee. :giddy:

errrrr in terms of stability i would tell you SP as its heavier.

if you were to compare top speed.. as in both bikes in stock condition without any mods.. KRR will be faster as it is lighter....
