I wish I was then I would have ridden for a lifetime..But too bad I don't do that..I look at other bikes and their parts and if it attracts my attention I will try meet the owner and ask him/her where he/she get the part from and the price also..I believe in "doing unto others what you want others to do unto you"..Anyway what goes around comes around..

Bros, need help. My bike just clock 13,000km. Is it just change engine oil, spark plug will do? Need to clean carb / decarbonise the engine or not?

wah so long never come, the threads have go so long liao ah?? haha.. si bei sian leh.. i this few days kana rain.. whole body wet esp on monday, cant see anything on BKE back to mandai.. cold like turkey heh..

 

and i seriously want to kill taxi drivers! can anyhow stop made me fishtail.. somemore just change tire.. like purposely want to make me season my tire quicker..

where got swee + cheap..

i got my bike in a very swee condition but expensive..

i think he means tat after tis dec when his pass expired he would have to pay adult fare for public transport, not usin his consession pass to purchase a bike for discount...tats wat i think he meant anyway...if really got discount then regret not buyin a bike durin my poly..lol

Actually sometimes owning a bike could actually outweigh the option of utlizing public transport and of course the unlimited accessibility offered by the use of a bike.

 

xia0vin , Must be careful with the condition of the bike you are buying dun just be disillusioned by the outlook and the price of a bike.

 

My fren spent close to 1k to redo his Kr interior recently. Bought for only 2.4k frm shop , FT plate and new paintwork but The condition is kana-lan lor.

 

1. Spent around 300to400 to overhaul top engine cus piston jammed (found out 2t pump not workin well)

2. Fork is always leaking like ****, come to realised that there are missing components in the fork

3. Power Valve is jammed thus cant go faster above 7 to 8k rpm

4. Despite the threading, Front tyre is hardened

5. Rear tyre is using a bigger profile tyre but (For front use only)

 

Well he got this from a shop which i shall not name to protect the identity of the shop.

Most of us are using a bigger profile tyre but (For front use only) for the rear..

 

Why protect the shop? Should just reveal so can boycott the shop..Prevent future KR buyers from even patronizing the shop at all..This kinda shop we don't need around..

Wha lao. Dun you think that the wording labeled ( For front use only ) is there for a reason ? If the front tyres can be used safely on front/rear, the wording wun be used already.

 

Its there as a safety regulation. The bike shop mech will sure tell you no prob can use one but have you thought that if you fall due to the tyre ? its ur skin thats scrubbing the tarmac leh.

 

Even if the threadin pattern for a set of tyres front and rear looks the same, there has to be a reason that the front tyre is labelled (for front use only). Well anyway rainy season is here already just becareful ya ?

hhaha thanks xiaovin, i understand how u feel right now.. very anxious.. but its best to go to bike shops to look see, place like ubi, amk and alexandra road. but i feel its better to buy from private owner haha. bring someoe experience to go along lor. thats all i can say la.. abt paintwork.. hmm i not sure leh cos the previous owner done swee swee for me. so i save alot

hi to all bros here. just want to know rough estimation of the price of this bike now? (: i seriously am new so i dunt know bike machines and all. so do guide me along as i heard the cheaper range of sports bikes are kawasaki krr150 and honda cbr150.

depends on which type of bike u want. 4stroke sportbike i think only got cbr150.

2 stroke sportbike got kr150 and sp150 and rs125(if u got the money). go to several bike shop see which 1 u like lor. bring a couple of experienced friends so u wun kana "carrot".

anyway, if i have a budget of $2.5k, is it possible to get a brand new sports bike? how much are the kr150, sp150 and cbr150 respectively?
