Not enough to get new one..But its a sufficient amount to get a second hand one..Think new one around 6k or so..Unless you wanna pay by instalments..

Actually sometimes owning a bike could actually outweigh the option of utlizing public transport and of course the unlimited accessibility offered by the use of a bike.

xia0vin , Must be careful with the condition of the bike you are buying dun just be disillusioned by the outlook and the price of a bike.

My fren spent close to 1k to redo his Kr interior recently. Bought for only 2.4k frm shop , FT plate and new paintwork but The condition is kana-lan lor.

1. Spent around 300to400 to overhaul top engine cus piston jammed (found out 2t pump not workin well)

2. Fork is always leaking like ****, come to realised that there are missing components in the fork

3. Power Valve is jammed thus cant go faster above 7 to 8k rpm

4. Despite the threading, Front tyre is hardened

5. Rear tyre is using a bigger profile tyre but (For front use only)

Well he got this from a shop which i shall not name to protect the identity of the shop.

:cheer: :cheer:

woah.. thx angeldogleslie for ur concern..

i will be very careful abt the condition.. mayb i going with my friend but his is unexprience one.. :sian:

anyway, u say fork leaking? leak what thing arh?? haha :cheeky:

wah guys 2b new bikes so expensive? even cbr150 and krr150 both 3k cannot get new ones from shop? those secondhand ones u guys get from shop?

can buy from shop or u go garage sales see lor. 3k is quite cheap la but also depend on the plate of the bike and the condition.

can explain what does the plate mean? no other place to learn sia bro. thanks man.

3k usually can get a gd condition 2nd hand one?

plate like F(aplhabet)xxxxx means the new or old lor. like FT plate is yr 2000 bike lor. den from there see how long the bike has been used. and the mileage on the speedometer can tell u how far the bike has travelled. the newer the plate and the lesser the mileage the better. go to a few shops and compare the price lor.

FT plate is yr2000 den shld be cheaper already right? they dunt sell brand new ones with old plates? heheh. anyway, will ask someone experienced go with me if nt i also blur. still taking license soon anw. hehhe. secondhand from shops also can pay by installments?

new bike with old plate is unless the owner retain the old plate.

Think you have gotten misled and have a misconception..Newer plate doesn't mean bike is good..Older plate doesn't mean bike not good..Some owners take care of their bike..Some don't..Its luck that you get a good condition bike or not..Like what was said pages back..Never judge a bike by its plate..

I thought old bike with new plates then means owner retain plate..

condition is a must wat. who would buy a bike that has many problems. new bike with old plate or old bike with new plate can also mean the owner retain the plate.

ohh okay that makes it a little clearer. but FT plate means its almost 6-7 yrs old, still selling for sub 2.5k? isnt that very ex? a new krr150 costs 4k around there right?

new bike not so cheap... i jus asked for the price of a new KRR... mochine price is around 6K plus.. then OTR is close to 7K... then i asked the bike shop that KRR is no longer in production isit? then he tell me its still in production... he still got alot of KRR haven ship here... then i blur... one year ago everyone saying KRR no more priduction liao.. my mechanic also tell me no more producktion liao... then now the shop tell me got production... lol... dunno real or not... but there quite a few new KRR... maybe if u guys wan to get new KRR then can go over tehre... its at ubi... if i'm not wrong is Atan...
