If your system has been contaminated with water, topping up will not help. You will have to flush the whole system. Yours is coming to almost a year I believe.

the 2T level works by capacitance.

Sometimes, when you go up slope, or the road is bumpy, the 2T will splash around causing a false level indication. In one instance, my indicator stuck low and it went on like dat for quite a month or two before it knocked itself back to normal again.

hey guys question regards to the oil lamp

my lamp often lights up in a couple of cases

 

1. when go to gear 3

2. when rev below 3-4rpm

3. somtimes rev to 6-7 rpm in 3rd-4gear also light up

but it doesnt light up in gear 1, or maintain the rev at 6rpm

my 2t still left 1/2 leh.. how come huh??

than i hear like sand sounds in engine when i start the bike after a shortwhile when riding for quite a long time

Sometimes, they top up your fluid is because they see your fluid level a bit low liao ... But normally, you can request them to do what you want if you know wat you are doing.

 

You dun have to give them a reason or an explanation. When you are there, just say you want to flush the system. Dun have to tell the reason. Think they also know themselves, and probably not ask you why you want to do that. It is of course not sensible to tell the mechanic off too; I am not asking you to tell the mechanic off also ....

 

I am not saying that not flushing the fluid is the cause of the problem. Just that I wish to highlight to you that the proper way of changing the fluid is by flushing the whole system. The bike is yours, the safety is yours too. You paid for the service, you should be getting what you really wanted. So dun be afraid to tell them you really wanted to flush the system, not just top up.

nw, ask urself tiz.. who is payin them ? who is customer ? juz tell them ur prob n dey must solve fer u mah.. i recommend u 1 motor diam.. at Ubi quite far.. but itz de best.. planet motors
