Hi Guys,

 

I just recently got a kr and the bike is giving me alot of problems, i have problem changing gear and braking is a hassle too.... sometimes very easy to change gear sometimes, i just cant. i tend to have alot of white smoke too. this rider at sch told me its common but i find it hard to digest.

 

Would i get into trouble with TP? cuz when get bike the shop told me everything is "like that" one.... i very scared...

Try to set ur bittin point further a bit.. It will make it easier to change gear.. Mine gt quite a lot of whte smoke also. My bike shop told me is normally coz it indicate that ur 2t is usin..

Yeah that wd work... best if can get a cover. Coz I think rainwater can still get into the carb by other means (entering near the side of the bike etc). I use the towel thing whenever I go riding and park the bike. I use the raincover when I get home. But best is still park under void deck lah... coz raincover damn leceh. i do have a cover hehehe but getting lazy to cover it already lah

usually when i park at other places, mostly multi storey carparks, so quite save from rain... only when riding in rain and parked at home.. guess have to be not so lazy and to cover e bike

 

parking at void deck no problem..? i also have friends parking at carpark w/o season parking, no problem leh... but my here alot of united premas ppl roming almost 3 times a week.. and right above my unit have a gr*ssroots leader that is very kb.. think park void deck sure tio complain 1... -_-"

about changing of gears, i also use to have a problem when i change gear and release cluth, the bike will jerk alittle... but after i try setting my biting point further, can change gear more smoothly...

 

for 2T alot of white smoke, my bike also having that problem, i asked the mech to open the 2T intake more for me coz my 2t doesnt seem to be depleting at all.. but after opening a bigger intake, still seem to take in 2T damn slowly... and another mech told me that its better to see white smoke den no smoke.. so i dono also =p

 

for the brakes, anyone have any idea if rear brake not eating much, what can be done other den changing brake pads ?

for white smoke, i guess i have the most white smoke ever.. even when is already travelling at 100km/h the smoke still comming out like no body care.. when stopping at traffic juntion is like genting liao.. 500ml 2t 1 day finish..

 

I guess some out you here noe how much is my white smoke hor..

hey guys, thanks for the info.... went to the shop liao. the mechanic change the pad for me and also adjusted my clutch for me... it's great now... very easy change gear... thanks for the info...

 

just wanted to check, if your bike alighment is "off" how to get it corrected... cuz some ppl tell me mine is off... then heard that for the white smoke it is cuz the 2T open too big and can be adjusted by removing one of the nut(cuz there is 2 nuts).

 

anymore kind souls willing to spare me of my agony...... ( my bike like cannot make it)

compulsion leak may cause tis pro.. cause alot more unburn fuel and u need to open more throttle to accelerate ur bike..

 

but the problem is u from wat mileage drop to 160++ ?

and did u do anything etc: porting block, big bore or install chamber?

 

because normally mileage won't drop 20km plus minus 1... unless something inside worn out plus spark plug old liao...

 

go check on ur muffler and plug to see whether its wet anot.. and 2t consumption..

I believe tis will tell u the answer...
