u kua zhang leh ... bua swing arm and kata .. actually i never bua kata b4 leh .. cause aing kata on krr can bua meh ? if bua kata faing also bua liao ...lolz

 

so sad.. handle liek tat haiz.. no mood to ride also ..

u mentioned abt changing over to racing handle bar right?

think some time ago i read somewhere abt this guy who changed to racing handle bar ended up he cant use his handle lock liao i think

not confirmed

but u better check out 1st before u go change~

krr go there can mod what .. i got cal up jb ah boy liao.. he say ten over dollar nie. dunno true anot. tat time i change 70 now he say ten over dollar ..

drop yr bike handle bar dented? Where got so big impact?

Last time my bike dropped on the right.. ended up right side highed than the left. I just use my hand give it a few hard knocks down and its fixed.

I don't see the reason how yr handle bar can be dented from dropping it only.. unless its been hit by a car?

The Kawasaki's powervalve system (KIPS) incorporates 2 auxillary exhaust ports, both higher than the main exhaust port, with each small port controlled by it's own power valve. At higher rpm, the power valves opened the aux ports, effectively increasing exhaust duration & the exhaust port area. When at lower speeds, both valves closed but in closed position, one power valve opened into a resonant chamber. This changes the frequency of the pressure waves in the expansion chamber which along ith reduced exhaust open duration, serve to improve mid range power.

 

Unless you are very sure you know what changes to the powerband and the effect it has on rideability, I would strongly advise AGAINST messing with the valve opening timing. There are good reasons why Kawasaki (Or any manufacturer) makes bikes the way they are. Some reasons are valid (Engine reliability, usable rev range, good rideability, good mileage) and some to lower production costs (SOMEONE PLEASE CALL KAWASAKI AND TELL THEM TO BLOODY STOP GIVING IRC TIRES!!).

JB Ah Boy got lots of parts for KRR meh? I think they're more of a RXZ specialist. I strongly believe there should be a "KRR SPecialist" shop out there somewhere in JB. Will someone speak up if they know please!!! Alternatvely we could organise a ride to the shop!!

Valves are always open when u'r travelling.

i think u'r talking about the "power valve" here. Drag yr bike to about 7-8k RPM(stock KRR opens valve at 8k.) and u feel the surge of power.

Why? Cause there's an extra valve which kicks in, take in more petrol and in turn more power

what's yr reason for going to jb ah boy?

last time got this guy called turbo08...the guy w/ the red white color paintwork one remember?

he did most of his stuff there...chroming of handle bar and swingarm...spoky rims...chamber pipe etc

he did recommend me to this shop along ah gua lane...called panjang smth one...he sae do servicing at this shop cheaper than do in jb ah boy

anyway...saw 2 highly modified krr outside the panjang shop as well

3 mod bikes vs my stock krr :sian:

seriosuly, i would not trust any JB motordiam.. unless someone has personally tried it and know the people there. Heard far too many stories about the shops there.
