in layman term, it means take out whatever that is in your exhaust and empty it...as the saying goes "empty vessels make the most noise" :cheeky:

tt900gp soft meh? i've been using it for quite some time and its still ok... but the compound has turned hard which is the bad news.

but i feel bt39ss would be better cos its more stickier den tt90gp...

so in conclusion, tt900gp is slightly more durable but less sticky, bt39ss is slightly more sticky but less durable...but no matter what, they are both good tyres

so far my tt900gp is already good and sticky enough for cornering...and the threads dont wear out so fast compared to my friend's bt39ss

Guys, Bigger tyres doesn't mean its better. alright?

haha yea...bigger tyres require more power to move...no point having such big tyres for a small frame

i 2nd that... 110 for front is way too big manz... and 130 rear... :faint:

i'm on a 120 rear which i feel is good enough... my front is 70/80 if i remember correctly.

the difference on a bigger tyre is ur cornering is more stable den tyres of small size like 110...and you need more strength to pull ur bike down.

front should be 90/80/17

Wrong... Its doesn't give u a stable cornering if u'r on bigger tyres. That's a misconception many bikers has. In fact, its harder to corner down on a 120 profile rear for KRR. Not to mention 130 rear.

i seen some krr riders using only 100 or even 90 for rear...that is way too small man...:giddy:

ddaniel : still a bit waxy so am more careful now lor but it brings u down the corner and definitely more secure feeling when u take a corner. 120 rear recommended keke any only $20 diff fr 110 might as well take 120. my IRC tyre kinda scary, think i kinda skidded but didn't realise it as it was slight

Irvin : cost me $180 ie 170 for the pair of tyres fr HKL and 10 for the air valve

Zlord : 120 is not too big, er think someone got 130 here but kinda too big rite? i like big tyres keke 'cos it gives an impression of 'stablity' but that's not entirely true. used to ride tuono with rear tyre of 160 that's why

oh haha i also wanted 120 for rear...but the shop i went to only got 110, damn :sian:

haha yea i think you better go check your front size again...130 for rear is really too heavy lah...quickly go change it when your tyres start to wear out

aiyoh such a pity then might as well find another shop did u try HKL? alot of ppl go there to change that's why their price is gd, another bike shop quoted me over 200 and thk gdness i checked ard first. if i were u, i will wait for it. dun think it's a major diff lah 110 or 120 keke am just too newbie to really know the diff keke.

regardless of 900 or 39, they r gd tyres but 900 slightly more ex but shop say 39 more durable though. anyway, guess diff ppl hv diff opinion and preferences.

one thing for sure.......stock tyres really cannot make it and better change it away soonest possible. perhaps donate to bbdc for defensive riding keke gd to skid mah. :cheeky:

hmmmz why do you say so?

from my point of view, a 120 tyre has more surface area with the floor den a tyre on 110... so wat do you tink of me saying this?

hey fren, no flame ah... just wanna know wats ur reasoning thats all :D

and yes, with a bigger size tyre, its definately harder to go down and thats true.

yup... but den again, you never know when its gonna rain.. and what if it really rains? den u gonna stop at where you are and take a bus or taxi home ? logically thinking no ma...

why take the gamble to see when gonna rain and maybe u are halfway to ur destination that cause u to stop riding....

but... i'm not only saying IRC tyres are not good, even good tyres are prone to wet grounds, and it goes back to how good can it be in wet ground.

my summary, IRC tyres is a no no...

durable but still its better to check it... the thread may be still very visible to the eye.. .but the compound may harden.
