Guys, thank you for ur fast reply. Ya. In addition of the manual, Im sure all Taikoh here can help the newbies like us.

 

I got a few questions also. After open up the seat, I can see 2 reservoir. 1 is for 2T oil and what is the other 1? Reserve coolant reservoir? How can drain out the coolant in the reserve tank as I need to put in fresh coolant into it.

 

Another weird thing is after running for abt 300km, I notice there is no change for the level of 2T oil in the reservoir. What actually happen there? The 2T is not added to the engine? If true then jialat liao!! :cry:

reserve coolant reservoir??like that is three reservoir liao leh..one for 2T,one for coolant..and the other for reserve??no lah..theres only two reservoir..one 2T,one coolant..and f.y.i 2T does not add into the engine..it serves another purpose for all ure clutches and others..our brothers here can perhaps enlighten this more..

 

and 2T usage is much lower compared to petrol.. :giddy:

Theoritically there are 3 reservoirs. 1 On the radiator itself, and 2 (1 for coolant reserve and 1 for 2T) at bottom of seat. Correct me if im wrong.

 

Can we add coolant at the radiator itself? Then can we mix the coolant? I got 1 red colour and 1 green colour. :giddy:

 

Yeah gendut18. Last time I rode a 2T bike b4. And 2T consumption quite obvious. But I really confuse this KRR dont need 2T one har? After riding for 300km, the qty of 2T in the reservoir no change at all (or minimal changes). To my understanding, mixture of 2T oil + petrol + air is required for 2 stroke engine combustion. 2T oil serve as a protection to the valve and crankshaft. Like this how the engine is going to suvive with minimal 2T? :confused:

hey bro, its true there's 2 reservoir under the rider's seat..one is for 2t reservoir and the other is the coolant spray..correct me if im wrong but that's what some of my friends say..the coolant reservoir is placed at the radiator...

it's just additional coolant lor... dun top it till full... no point...

 

if u top up to the brim for the coolant under ur seat... then u open throttle, those coolant will overflow one...

dun worry lahz... if u can travel 300km nth happen then shld not be a problem lor... only thing is that ur 2t consumption is low lor...

 

if u scare then ask bike shop check ur 2t pump make sure it working... or adjust the 2t intake bigger abit can liao...

 

actually 300km not really alot... so dun worry so much...

2t is added into the engine... for lubrication for the piston in the engine... very important for 2-strokes bikes...

 

4t (known as Engine Oil) is for clutch and things below the piston... like the cam shaft...

hey guys.. i would like to ask something about kips as i'm a new rider...

 

1)if the 2T is finishing and i got another brand of 2T, can i mix it together..?

 

2)if the coolant is going to finish, can i just add water..?

 

3)what the the basic requirements to know about a krr..? like how long must wash the carbarator.. how many click change engine oil, etc...

i tink different brand of 2t mix together no problem...

i always do tat...

 

as for coolant, how to finish?? unless its leakin...

 

as for wash curbarator... it will be washed when i do full service...

tats when i feel my bike lagging...

1) 2T. Not advisable to mix but it can be done.

 

2) You may use only distilled water or a distilled water / coolant mix

 

3) Recommended replacement intervals for engine oil is 5000km.

oic.. hmmm... if 2T is not advisable to mix, what if the current one is left abit only den i need to top up which is from another brand..? btw... full service will cost around? like doing what..?

any one know where can i check KRR spart part serial number??like faring and stuff like that..coz each part have their own serial number.
