help for choosing 2b sport bikes~~

nvm..its ok but heard tht sp is better can last coz im not in a hurry to change bike after i got it..soo mayb will use it for afew yrs or mayb till i can afford a better one..but still have to ask the experts here..haha

TZM original parts are becoming increasingly rare.

the plate no. is FYxxxxL..coe at jan 2011 or 2012..road tax expiry on jan bought 1yr..no modify..full service on may/june this yr..change battery, front tyre, rear tyre(last yr)..engine ok wifout loud sound..btw still got wat qns or ask bout the bike coz im realli a noob..

mayb the sp is a better choice for mi..my dad suggest mi going to the bike shop to buy instead of buying frm someone else..coz not realli safe..

 

I would rather go and buy from people as people will love its bike more den bike shop and bike shop often will just put the bike at one side and ignore it...

 

isit possible to adjust the seat of the sp..coz i have to tip-toe when sitting on it straight wifout side stand

im in da same situation as u Jocechua...im also dun noe which 1 2 chus..whether is honda sp or yamaha tzm..4 me, i nid a bike dat looks big n nice...as for da budget, i cn afford either 1 of it..so, its up 2 da performance..anibod plz help me...i nid 2 noe da adv n dis adv of both bike..thanx..btw, i only intrested in dis 2 bike..

so, du u guys think dat is beta 2 gt sp rather than tzm? if a bike became more rare lyk tzm, is it a gud or bad thing? is it true dat tzm parts r harder 2 find n r tzm value is mur higher n unlikely 2 drop compare 2 sp?

bike shops are not that stable and safe actually. There are some stuff which you cant find out without dismantling the entire bike, as usually these bike shops take in the bikes without really testing it.

 

So I still recommend that you get a friend who really knows his stuff to go with you whether going to shop or buying from people.

 

I have friend who had piston jam a month after he got it from shop and shop says no warranty on that.

 

And it really depends on which shop you go to, most shops are out to carrot as they need to make some $, its very hard to find a cheap and good bike. Also they will start telling u nonsense like offering you free paintwork, and helmets and all to make you feel tempted but its all counted in the excess you gonna pay, so just say no and you can observe a price change from the salesman.

 

I have really bad impressions of getting a bike from these shops though I had never brought from them. As everytime I go shops to scout for 2nd hand bikes, I get nonsensical deals which dont make sense to me.

e worst decision i made was to get mine bike, e most exp from a bikeshop...

 

greatest regret, very expensive lesson.

 

i dumb also, didnt really check e bike properly enuff... coz i trusted them, very reputable and very big nice shop... my past bikes all from bought frm pte owner, no problem... BUT dis 1 really burn a hole in mine pocket....

 

SO morale of the story is to check ur bike well before u purchase it, be it shop or pte owner...

coz my dad said his friend open a bike shop but who knows right..they will also "chop chop" u..i got a friend tht bought a first hand x1r i think for 7k plus wif road tax n insurance but isit worth it..

from wad i noe, sp wid FU plate's coe wil end between late of 2011 an 2012..hw cum FY ends @ jan 2011?? n correct me if im wrong, frm wad i noe sp production stop until FV..but i went 2 a bike shop i saw a FW plate sp..but selling @ $5000..so ex..n neva heard of sp from FX onwards..btw, u sure dat ur fren sp has a proarm??

1) you wanna get into trouble with the law,give government money,fully modded = Fuel Consumption like ****,engine problems.

2) stock = good fuel consumption,dont get into trouble with the law.
