Last time also ban, that why nobody buy bike and COE went down to $1. the only 4 stroke bike is FZ150, subsequently lifted and quess what, everything went back to normal and COE also went up and up. If I am not wrong, should be around 1993 when COE was at $1.

Hello, are you there......

yes but those cub kia are using ILLEGAL exhaust cans. they should be impounded and sent for scrap metal recycling. those who use street legal cans are not as loud until they remove the silencers. imho, i don't mind noisy bikes as long as the dumbassed riders do not rev them at my carpark or when everyone is trying to sleep.

sad to say, most idiots who fix illegal or tong pipes like to have their brains numbed by ear piercing loud exhaust notes and these morons just ruin it for us bikers, gives everyone a bad impression of us and makes the ROV/ TP conduct stringent checks on modded bikes.

i second that. :thumb:

actually a few companies (ktm, etc) are researching n xperimenting on clean two stroke engines using direct injection.

resulting cleaner, more effecient and more powerful than a conventional 2stroke.

look in the web.

lets pray for their success, as 4stroke sucks 2stroke smoke (of same cc)! LOL

If there were to continue 2 strokes, hope only KTM series, Rs125/250, NSR250/500 and some Suzuki bikes will be kept. The rest can erm, buang :cheeky:

Well, for now there are still 2 stroke bikes in production. But limited to few models only.

Like the Yamaha RXZ, Kawasaki KRR, Aprilia RS125 . . .

Even though the environment is more important as most of us can agree, 2 stroke really rules in the motorbike industry. 2 stroke really rules the street since the past 30 years. It will be remembered by the most of us here.

It's going the way of the 500 2-stroke GP bikes and soon, the 250 2-strokes MotoGP bikes.

They are changing to 600 cc bikes in MotoGP.

Well, makes sense since most bike comps are phasing 2 strokers motorcycles.

Guess it's the Euro III/IV...etc emission regulations.

Even scooters are going the 4 stroke way. The handful of 2 strokers are usually those tiny 50-100cc versions in european markets.

Maybe the only 2 strokes engines will be the one mounted on grasscutter's back, outboard motors on small boats...but even these are phasing out the 2-strokers.

Someone mentioned RXZzs, KRR....etc. Well, the bike companies already have replacements for these:

4 Stroke YBR

4 Stroke Yamaha YZF125

4 Stroke Ninja 250.

4 Stroke Honda CBR 125/150

All 4 strokes.
