When you change tyres, ask the mech to reverse the screw & nut at the bottom of the shocks.

Same thing can be done for caliper, but you'll need to get longer screws.

Reverse the Screw and Nut????

ah... could u elaborate further???

Thanks...

Its always, "Which tyre is good on WET?" Why not ask, "Which road is good when WET?"

normally nuts are tie on the outside facing you.. tie it the other way round.. inwards..
:giddy: bro, u using e wrong terms leh~

any recommendation? i wanna prevent the f3cking thieves from getting my precious bitubo or yoshi
the reverse screw method is can still be stolen, only much more work needs to be done, thus more time required to do so if they really want to steal ur stuffs.

for calipers... imagine ( || represents the nut, |--- represents the screw)

|---|| ||---|

the screw is on the outside, reverse meaning

||--| |---||

Thus now, the nuts will be on the outside, and if they wana remove ur calipers, gotta remove ur front wheel in order to take e caliper out, as the screw cant be remove as the brake disc is blocking it. (if u understand my diagram) :cheeky:

yoshi pipe ar, dead weld it loh.

Super glue the nut to the bolt so that the thieves cannot loosen the nut and bolt. :smile:

When need to remove, actually got way to loosen it. :)

Don't worry, very easy one, but will take several minutes, so even if the thieves know, they will not want to risk waiting around so the bike should be relatively safe compared to those without the glue. :D

Alarm is the best as when it shake it will sound ma.... or put the side bracket to cover the nut lor.... actually the alram can install another batt jus for the alarm ya..... so when finish can bring home and charge....

Anyway easy to say is if ur bike is so OUTSTANDING then there is a percentage of ppl coming to ur bike to steal cos as u see when we saw a veri nice bike we will tend to go close it and see ya......

Another prob is when we ride on the road, we dun noe when we will offend the other road user as likely to say some road user is siao de tink u disturb him then tio with u like tat la...... so normally tis happen at a less percentage as the opposition will recongize ur bike paint work colour, logo like a DEVIL or maybe angel etc..... so the next time see ur bike then kana liao lor.....

Jus my 2 cent 3 cent 4 cent etc...... of thoughts ya.... :)

The alarm veri cheap la tink three four hundred TitanicLexus can afford ya....... see his bike so nice i envy lor..... lol..... cheer!!!!

lolzz.... thks comment. Btw, my bike is nice coz after new paint work mah....everyone doing their renewal of coz is for more outstanding than usual lor, if not wat is the pt for renew? haha....

Another reason is ppl like me can't afford for a new spec III lor, then got no choice go n spent ard 1k to renewal n moduled spec III tail n get the same new model outlook mah. Mine is old bike FS plate and non-Vtec too, not as rich as "-=eVo=-" FBB SPEC 3 VTEC CB400cc lor.... :giddy:

Looking for alarm is hope to protect ur shock not easily steal by other, if the alarm cost ard 100 buck lidat, then will feel worth to cover it mah. If wanna spent three four hundred for a alarm then might as well standby the cash looking for another one. LOL.... Btw, wonder new bike is more attractive or old bike more attractive leh? Esp, new plate number even specIII got HISS, but dunno workable bo?....Jus my 2 cent.

Actually..one of the best way to prevent itchy hand is to weld the nuts....to take out, then un-weld it lor. This one confirm time consuming for the thief. Anyway its not everyday that you need to take out suspension/calipers.

Anyway, these ppl have already thought of everything that you wanna do. Its not that it can't be stolen, it'll just take more time and effort from their part. Even the best alarm in the world can't help the part from being stolen. Its juz to deter them and make their work harder that is all.

I myself kiasu hahahha...put alarm...so far so good la.

just to share my method.. I went to Seng Kwang, and welded a cap on top of the suspension nut.. then, I got them to melt the thread of the endcan nut. with such method, even if the thief come ready with allen key, also cannot remove. Proven to work..

For welding of the cap on top of the nut, its actually quite solid. Cos when I need him to remove it once, cos I wanna remove my rack, which is attached on the nut itself, it was quite tough to cut it man. But as what IvikaRazi say, very seldom u need to remove ur suspension or endcan ba. so, yeah, best.

Make me feel safe with leaving my bitubo and yoshi~ hee.
