9.5K for a FS i would say is about the market value for private party.

also must see paintwork mah..if original rvf sticker..then can expect to be more pricey. If spray paint then can fetch abt 9.5k

yo yo.... 57K milage i would consider ok. you take the plate number which is FS, assuming it is really registered in the year 2000. till now about a total of 4 years. Average milage rake up each year is 15000KM.

 

So 15000KM x 4 years = 60 000km.

 

So 57000 is pretty ok and not over milage.

 

Besides looking at the paintwork, i think it is wiser to pay more attention to the Engine, listen for smoothness and no unusual loud noises. ask for test ride if possible.

 

Sometimes bodywork abit scath here n there is ok one and hard to avoid for 2nd hand bikes. Even though if it is respray original, as long as u get a bike with a very sound engine, i think that is what is important.

heya guys, just wanted to know some stuff. just bought a rvf 1 1/2months back and its time to do a servicing.. i was quoted 30 dollars labour charge for changing engine oil + spark plugs.. engine oil im getting at 18/ bottle for elf's full syn 4t, but plugs i have to get myself.. (so its $84+price of the plugs which i need to get myself).. wondering if its expensive..

 

and anyone knows how much are denso iridium plugs? i was thinking of getting it from ah boy hmm..

From the prices u quoted is a little over price.

 

 

Maybe can drop by to K&T which many RVF riders here goes there for servicing. I believe is lower than yr current quotation.

Yup.Motordiams can't cheat us of spark plugs as RVFs have only 1 size spark plug.But from wat i know,there are 2 brands available.

The original plate should be a late FU, or early FV...

But previous owner change to late FV...
