The blackbird I rode was involved in an bad accident b4 I traded it in to De Xing. Its a black coloured 2000 model with a FW plate (I retained the previous no.) So if any of your friends is buying a blackbird, tell them to be mindful of this.

Yeah nearly a year and a half back..... I did see someone riding it once.... I hope the ride don't push the bike too hard.... alignment out a little and the frame on the right is bent a little... can't really fix the fairing properly..... will vibrate a lot at high speeds..... exhaust both are badly damaged but the bike shop only wrap them with stainless steel sheet.... the bike made a lot of money from the insurance claim.... I end up with more expense......

 

I feel so bad not revealing this infor long ago..... but its better than never....

well maintained paintwork and almost perfect chrome finish on the exhuast.

 

however. tyres need to be replaced and there is a dent on the fuel tank.

*big dent* caused by some bike dropped onto the bird.

 

under shade and cover when not riding.

 

pls. gimme some comments.

I think it overprice le.. considering the dent. And chrome finish on the exhaust might not be a gd thing. i.e harder to maintain etc. And u sure the dent cause another bike dropped on her? Also check the paintwork, stock paintwork?

unless tyres r changed to a new set, and tank is either fixed up or replaced, 11k looks a bit on the high side. jus my 2 cents.

It was FW8***..... and it was the only FW black colour BB at that time..... non of the shop I enquired had a new black colour BB at that time....mostly Silver and Blue ... if there was one I would have bought it..... replacing one black with another.... though the insurance would have killed me.... that was how much I loved the Blackbird.....

Exhaust would have been changed to a new one.... fairing can be resprayed to look like a new one(believe me on this... 1st hand experience).... tell the owner to remove the fairing and check the frame and engine casings for dents or bent frame.... check the engine for rattling sound was reved to 4000rpm... if it rattles then... CCT needs to be changed....

 

10K sounds abt the right price but 11K is too high...

lightspeed, i thk u can bring to ah lai. cos tat time i do full servicing, tis check is included in the receipt. dunno really got do or not la...

saw a owner advertising, bought in April 1999. He claims that the BB is EFI.

 

It is the color I am looking for. Has to ensure 1st b4 making a trip down to view his BB.

Went to HKL as i was broke they change the cone bearing similar to super 4 1 any comments guys any how i feel the bike leaning more to the left ... or may be its me i dunno la
