seriously i think david beckham was the best choice for england captain..but that was before he moved to la galaxy of course..can u see the difference how england played with beckham as their captain?england was always atacking and atacking through out the whole match..they have a hunger to win and even if they lose they sure can be proud coz atleast they give their apponents one hell of a fight.. but its too late now they have to look ahead..

Though i'm a man utd fan, i choose Steven Gerrard over John Terry. He seems calmer when the going gets tough. Gary Neville is the obvious choice, but he's injury prone. Wayne Rooney is my choice for the future. His big match attitude is the example for his fellow countrymen.
