Is the thread alive? anybody have a great destination for the 2b riders?

Was thinking to desaru and pass by the new e22 bridge. Or just nsh to KL! !!!!:thumb: probly 2d3n trip. Leaving on friday night rrach home sunday night.

I strong advise not to travel at night on NSH. Especially on a 2B bike.... Anything happen to u, ur travelling buddy might not be able realise too as it is very dark.

"Money is the root of all evil" <Be careful if someone ask a loan from u... Be wary if the person promises the sky. Be thankful if u had made the right decision to reject the pathetic person.>

3rd Day -> Siam reap (If not going see Angkor Wat den go Siem Reap for F?)

6th Day -> fields of Jar (you sure you can clear vietianne border and all the way to Phonsavan in 1 day?)

7th day -> somewhere in Laos trying to get out

(From Phosavan, you can get to Huey Xai in 1 day?)

12th Day -> Chiang Mai up train back to Hatyai

(you sure there's a 1 day train from CM to HY ?)

If you can do all these, you are my idol forever!

Not trying to undermine or discourage you la.

Just want to highlight that there are countless permuatations and factors that can affect the trip

For 2 weeks, I would suggest either Lao or Kampucha. Even this will be quite rushed.

Relax and enjoy the trip, the scenery, the beer and the girls.

Alot of factors will contribute to mission fail.

1) bike cannot do it - learn lesson, pay $, get the bike serviced properly

2) rider cannot do it physically - hard work and training will pay off

3) rider cannot do it mentally - u turn go home rethink his plan

4) rider does not make it - report to god

Basically it is good to acknowledge that we can learn through our failures/mistakes, or better still learn through the failures of others.

U-turning is not a disgrace. At least made the 1st step in stepping out of the boundary and deciding to walk the talk.

not making your mind up to do something you dream off is a pity.

making the decision to go alone is not easy, so pls give him some encouragement.

so i stand firm on once rider declares he is ready, he is ready.

But still I will recommand that he learn from someone expierenced who is willing to go slow and show him the way.

Good for you.

I'm no master, just an insignificant traveller.

Hope to see and learn something new everywhere I go.

Please go and plan, go and ride, and take more pictures for us to see.

May the force be with you.

The only reason why I'm not laughing with you is that I prefer laughing at you.
