VivoCity carpark - Bike (damm expensive)

I was there last WE. They charge $3 the first 3 hours (any period of time between 1-3h), then $1 for each subsequent hour as long as it's started. Quite expensive...

 

I was parked at B1, the parking space is great, the slopes in and out are easy to ride. But I have not noticed any gap when exiting, I took Sentosa Gateway exit.

 

There should be a law that makes malls charge max $2 per day for motorbikes, given that public carparks and HDB carparks are usually $0.65 per day !

 

based on this reasoning you want a law that mall charge max $2 per day for bikes? wait long long.. also dun have. lol. i think its easier that they increase public and hdb carparks to $1.07 to 'justify' how much certain malls are charging.

the best now is to park at the big open space carpark beside bus interchange.

need to walk about 10 mins to vivo.

went to vivo.. parked at st james, in a corner in the yellow staff parking area..

no bikes when i was there at 6pm but when went back to collect bike at 11pm.. a lot of bikes surrounding! had to squeeze my way out of all the bikes..

Personally I find nothing wrong with Vivo. Yes, they may be super ex, but they already stated the price openly even on their website. That is their place, if they set this price, so be it. You can always choose to enter or not enter - the choice is yours.

 

They didn't con anyone. Highly charged, maybe. But still, its you who make the final decision.
