Don't mind me answering for Foxie since I am currently reading the YZF-R125 thread and chance upon the price he paid for his R125, plus he is away due to exams also.. lol

 

Top Speed I tink i cant really do it now coz

1)Engine haven run in

2)I just passed licence, still noob LOL! but youtube got vid (Stock all parts)

Straight road 117-118km/h, Down Hill hit 134km/h

 

FC will update after my first tank about to finish.

 

Oh and there is a Trip Planner on the Electronics, It calculates for you your trip takes how many km. Total can calculate 2 trips. When done can reset.

 

Im 26 and just passed, my OTR is 13k. I heard those younger riders get it at 15k. Ah, finally getting old has its perks =D

 

 

Loois Motor loh, Down payment they tell me 1.5k+ if i nv remember wrongly but i gave them 2K. Loan can up to 4 or 5yrs loh.. If u thinking of getting this bike, most prolly u also wont want to change bike soon anyway. For me im saving for R1 1st hand, after 5 years then upgrade. Older and insurance cheaper haha

 

Yup, you can find the above quotes on page 10 of the YZF-R125 thread. A few weeks back, I sent an email to Loois to enquire about the price. The fella said machine price is around $10.8 k. So I suspect it could be around $13k otr or maybe higher depending on your age.

Almost ALL of the new class 2b bikes are not worth to buy 1st hand. 5digit figure for something that is 125/150/180/200cc..

 

You can get a decent 2nd hand bike class 2 bike with that kind of money.

R1 2008 is going for around 17k - 25k for a brand new bike and It can beat any of our 2b bikes by the time it hits gear 2..

 

I've been told time and time again to not spend so much on 2b bikes if I'm really looking at something to speed around with. Its all starting to make sense.

 

But then again, to make a class 2a rider *coughahguicough* complain about maintaining speed with my rs125 or even xy's mito while we are on our 2b bikes, it just puts a smile on my face.

 

I suggest you buy a 2nd hand RS125 or Mito (none of that SP525 bullsheit) and rebuild it from ground up. You will love the bike even more.

 

Unless you say you wanna go for something that has a good FC, proven to have very lasting parts, go for a Roadwin R instead. One of the members here even survive on roadtrip up to Thailand on several occasions.

 

Well one thing we have to look into although the first hands of the class 2b is ex. (R125 not included cos its WAYYYY more than EXPENSIVE ) Class 2A and Class 2 has more parts and care to do compared to a 2b. Parts of course are cheaper too so it all boils down to how much a person can actually cough out ^^

i believe most of us will throw $$$ on our bikes without thinking much. i guess thats passion and interests. thats why some of us willing to fork out eg 14k for a 2b bike , some of us willing to fork out for a 2 stroke esp maintainence is quite high.
