yeah, next up is to find the average cost of a MAP sensor (w or w/o labour). hopefully my fuel supply system is alright.

 

i intend to change the MAP sensor, reset ECU and see if i still get this problem in future.

 

bro i told this to my wife when she wanted to buy a old EG6, "car 6k, standby 10k to fix stuff". Although not all are bad, but i think this sum is just nice to get rdy all in working condition.

 

Really good condition EG/EK fingers can count, and normally the engine is new.

the black wire that u see is the wire that i used to jump the 2 pin connector.

 

at least i know there's something wrong with my fuel delivery system. it could also be, well, dirty injectors.

 

nonetheless, i've reseted my ECU. the only problem now left is the fuel delivery system.

 

the fact is, i did not experience any jerking problem or an increase of idling speed to 1.5k after some travelling

 

so, i'm going to take a "wait and see" approach. perhaps i may be going to buy some OTC injector cleaners and monitor again
