Got shop 'eat' XJR meh? heard from a 'source' bike shops dun take in. Clarifications?

Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family.

Choose a F*****g big television.

Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows,

stuffing F*****g junk food into your mouth.

Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home,

nothing more than an embarrasment to the selfish, ****ed up brats you spawned to replace yourself.

Choose your future. Choose life.

I chose not to choose life, I chose something else instead.

ever presence of honda s4, its little legacy it created in spore and its market is something xjr will nv be able to match in my opinion.

when the new look 02 xjr came into the market, there was a little hoo haa by some over the potential rivalry it can pose to s4. but 2 yrs down the road and its obvious who won.

guess the presence of xjr would be even more oblivious if not for the fact tat its used as a training bike at one of the learning centres

" eh why yur super 4 got yamaha logo? "

" er.. no la its actually from yamaha, called xjr"

" huh? simi r? "

" X.. J .. R "

" huh? simi lum par? super 4 from honda right? aiyo why u put yamaha logo?"

Whahahahhahaha!!!!!

Sad but true.

Many ppl here 'siao Honda', that's why...

From wat I understand, Suzuki is the first to put in VTEC in streetbike (Bandit V), den Honda took the idea n the Super4 VTEC was born. U'll prob have to look very hard to find the Bandit V on our streets.

hi Icez, i think discussing here will help u more cos others can chip in too

full tank ~ 400+ for sure, if i rememebr coorectly previous owner pushed it to ~ 430 before, personally i tried 410+ on spore travelling

top end is ard 195 clearing meter, clocked by a dua gu on a digital speedo, no idea whether it can go up some more

yes, 160/70 can fit on rear, 120 can fit on front, think since u asked, u already aware that stock is 150 rear 110 front, but 150 rears are harder to find readily

no idea abt " so cheap ", but one thing for sure is its high dosage of similarities wif s4 means someone looking for something similar haf a certain chance of choosing s4 over it, and s4 is too trustworthy to b overlooked.

maintenance / parts personally i dun see much diff, there is a lot of discussions in past threads u may liek to take a look

so far i havent met wif manufacturer probs myself or from fellow xjr owners except a loose clutch housing ( contributes to a weird sound, but no significant detrimental effects watsoever according to many mechs and fellow riders )

rest of probs are all user inflicted :D

Go for XJR if:

1. Low budget to get a relatively new 2nd hand bike or

2. Likes the look

3. Uniqueness

Go for Vtech 3 if:

1. Value in money

2. Lower maintenance

3. Better engine

People go for XJR usually because of one reason: they simply like XJR. If you dun share this passion, my suggestion is go for Vtech.
