yup mainly for cosmetic purposes

 

rear fender eliminator? ours is stock so low already also kanna splash. the rear fender eliminator lagi worst i think. IMO

IMO, motor kena splash is ok, so long yr body do not kena splash while riding on wet road condition.

cannot imagine ride bike back of the body kenna splash.. -.-' like riding bi.. cycle.

yea i sent back le.... change battery... ECU changed rectifier changed got my bike back rode to my hse died again right infront of my house... dam sianz... the mech say my magnetic coil ok... jus need change battery but still die... wads the estimate cost of a magnetic coil? im so paranoid of riding my bike already sia... almost got me crazy with all this stupid issues...

Push start, Push bike to bus stop, Middle of e nite.... all e $hity stuffs...

 

Once all done up, will be back to normal and u will slowly like back ur S4

If you are free and know where Teck Ghee in AMK Ave 10 is..come over and I check if your coil is working proper.

Last dec i top overhaul, change chain n spocket. Heavier damage = SGD$800

Hi Guys & Gals,

 

New here in the forum. Had my super4 bike for a long time-FP plate. Juz renewed COE last yr or so. But my bike is all stock n no modifications since day 1. I would like 2 ask u all for an advice....

Should i buy a new bike n trade in my super4 @ $2500 ( Offered By AZP ) or as i planned 2 do, juz refurbish n make new my bike? New spray, xhaust n all. Change my suspension back n center. Also the front brakes. If i do tat new facelift, how much roughly is the damage, and how long is the job gonna take? Thanks. Any reasonable & good Service workshops in the east area to do tis jobs. Dun 1 2 spend 2 much $$$ also. Tight Budget!!

In my opinion if u r a true blue Superfour lover at heart then u shud do a facelift to ur S4 and continue lovin it (like me...hehe)but if u have been aiming for another bike for a long time then i guess since u have just renewed COE,u can sell ur S4 at a higher price and move on...

cos while i was at unique changing my clutch plates, the mechanic told be that my coil is burnt and advised me to change. a whopping 280 bucks. not sure if anyone changed this before?

The coil is 3 phase..if one phase burned out or blacken, better change liao..won't provide good AC to rectifier and poor charging rate and can damage your rectifier and battery if high currents gets to it direct. Heard prices from $220 to $270.

Thanks guys for the advice n quick reply. Still Love my Super4 coz its a good n reliable bike. Juz tat i need 2 get some parts changed n re spray. Like the suspension, center springs n back 02. The front brakes also jam up wen i brake. How much 2 minor refurbish? Make nice again? Tight Budget. Pple say go 2 Unique Motorsports ( Eunos ). Will try....

[Q] Have a COE paid Super4 (FP Plate) but need 2 refurbish. Most parts are all stock. Is it better 2 go to Honda Boon Siew 2 get it service n refurbished to new, or juz go 2 Unique Motorsports, as recommended by friends in tis forum? On a tight budget. Wats yr advice pls. Thanks

You have to know what you want refurbish first...otherwise, other than Boon Siew..you SURE KENNA chop chop by any mototiam outside. Let us know what is there that you need to refurnished. I am sure the guys here can help you..no mototiam does everything under one roof..certain things they sub contract out.
