by right... if ur needle run 2time better check ur battery level, how long u used ur battery??? get a voltmeter http://www.northerntool.com/images/product/images/163100_lg.jpg to check... if not very troublesome later if halfway no battery...

No idea how long is the battery. Took over the bike since Apr and i dont install a voltmeter. So i guess its a case for concern. Ok then i will have it check at my next available time. Thanks bro heskeydal.

Its not how fast you can reach your destination and its not how you modify your machine but at the end of the day, its HOW you ride the machine!!!!.

Hi Seniors!

Im currently having some problems with my spec3. It seems that everytime i change gear(Especially gear 1 -2) there is a tak-tak sound. Anyone know what it is? Is it something to do with my clutch plates or my gearbox? Thanks!

Thanks for the attention bro. I understand that it has to pass the neutral gear bro. But the tak tak sound comes when I release the clutch after I changed gear. So everytime after I change gear, then when I release my clutch got the tak-tak sound. Cause initially my super 4 dont have the tak tak sound when I release clutch. Hope you can help me with this problem. I dont want to get chop by mechanics when I go for repair. Thanks again!

No vibration on the Revo even beyond that speed.

I had just changed my chain and sprockets a month ago. DID X ring and standard Honda sprockets so it's probably not the chain right? I kinda hear it from the clutch/gear box area but again I had just changed my clutch plates around 3months ago. So what could be the problem then? If it's not clutch plates and chain?

What do you mean by "standard Honda sprockets"?

It is most likely the front sprocket. I too changed my chain (SFR) and sprocket set (aftermarket non-Honda OEM) last month.

After fitting, I noticed a whirring sound from the front sprocket area. Mechanic said "new sprocket, so it is "normal" to hear some sound. Let it run in and see."

I accepted and let it slide because it was FOC. After about 2 weeks, the sound grew louder and this time, vibration could be felt at the footpegs.

Took it back to the shop. Mechanic checked wheel bearing and etc. Couldn't find anything wrong. Then he decided to change the new front sprocket. Same brand as previously installed. Sound went away.

These non-Honda OEM sprockets are either from Thailand or China and they are not manufactured to acceptable quality standards. If you have just fitted the sprockets and the sound/vibrations appear after installation, get the shop to replace the sprockets.

Thanks bro! What I mean't by sprockets was the original honda sprockets(at least that is what the packaging said)but I didn't check whether it was authentic or aftermarket. I did it at Planet as he is known to be an honest man, I went there to change my sprockets and chain because of the tak-tak sound and the sound vanished for a month. So when the tak-tak sound came again recently I thought it have something to do with my clutch or gearbox.

Anyway bro, issit possible to change only the front sprocket? I thought i comes with a set?

Thanks alot for your help. Now I am re-assured that it is my front sprocket causing problems again!

Yes, you can change just the front sprocket. Suggest you go back to Planet and ask them to re-look at the bike to find the source. All the best!
