Need help here, what rack is manage to fit on my spec 1 that is modded with a spec 3 tail? Or do I need to customise a rack to fit my bike. I need a box badlyi :(

those rack used for spec 1 n 2 should be able as i saw one spec1 wif spec 3 tail has box and rack at unique last sat.. from the side view, it looks weird, the weird part is his rear mududgear, don noe why jus look funny.. try asking unique?

i see, i wont mind it looks werid.. haha but the thing is i realised my chasssi is covered by my tailboard. wonder is it possible not to drill my tail board to fit the rack? as i saw 2 of the mounting points of the rack is one to the chassis and one hold on to the susp joint.

i doubt is possible as for vtec version the fuel from fuel tank is injected by vacuum suction, and it doesnt have fuel cock as well..

Yes...u can use it provided it can sit and fit on the back bone frame where the tank seats.

Hey guys,

 

Do yall have dis problem of front braking becoming less effective in rainy conditions? My front brake 'eats' very well during dry conditions, but when its raining, I have to press my front brake lever very hard in order to get the same braking effect...

 

What's the problem?

If want better braking efficiency, change a better brake pad.

Very "eat" one, but oso dangerous during emergency braking!

I know this has been discussed before but want to get the latest opinion.

 

1) What tyres would you recommend for a Spec III CB400? Still the Michelin Pilot Road 2, or perhaps others?

(as a side point, why is the Pilot Road 3 not available in Singapore?)

 

2) Which shop would you recommend to get the tyres?

 

3) How much would you expect to pay?

eh? pilot road 3 is not available here? i thought i saw it at racewerkz before.

 

I saw that it was not on the Michelin Singapore site, but was on the European one, so assumed it wasn't available. I guess where there's a will there's a way!

What is wrong? The fuse is ok. I just did my wiring at republic just 2 mths ago because my bike always short curcuit whenever i full lock my handle to the left. I dun know what is wrong this time. No light whatsoever.

fuse ok. wiring ok. no light/no crank might b battery die off alrdy. chg new battery?

Hi, I just bought a 2nd hand FBE plate Super 4 Revo with a mileage of 11k++. I believed mine is the 1st batch of the Revo version as the engine casing is silver in colour.

 

So my question is: I recently heard from a mechanic that there are some water pump problems for the 1st batch of this Revo version. How true is this and any experiences from fellow riders?

what happen when the top block gasket break and oil start to leak(minimal)?

my 9yrs old bike is showing sign of old age. but still good to ride. 340km before reserve.

i think i'm in love with a Bol'dor.

There is a flower like dial big screw in between the two inner carbs below...have to bend dow to see it.right in the centre. Go to the left side of ur bike and turn it anticlockwise with ur right hand..lite bit at a time. Do it when engine is hot to get accurate rpm setting.

Hi guys. I am planning to get a new battery for my spec 3. Any brand or model I should get? And what are the things I need to look out for when getting one?

March 2009 - May 2010: VXR200 (FBB***B)

October 2010- September 2013: CB400 Spec 3 (FY****Y)

September 2013 - Present: GSR750 (FBH****S)
