Depends..

 

How u knw it's still good?

 

Better to change as a set if you can afford. So If anyting is faulty, u can take note the lifespan of the batt/rectifier/coil

This 3 is the main cause of failure on the bike, ther than your cdi n ect

If change coil n rectifier , not more than 400. I changed both last year at racewerk..norman told me now adays many chiong recitifier in the market...If plus batt depends on wat batt you use..

Tis is to ensure that the battery doesn't discharge by itself during the 6days of not starting bike

 

 

Else, ask some1 to warm up the bike daily

 

Yes i will be asking my dad to warm up my bike everyday for around 5min?

Need some help from the pros. Currently CB400SF2 using stock filter/exhaust. If change to hi flow filter and full system exhaust, do I need to do jet kit for carb?

you won't "die" if you don't do a rejet. You can still continue to ride happily forever ;)

 

but if you want PERFORMANCE, then yes you definitely need to do a rejet. Your air/fuel mixture is no longer optimum since you changed your air intake and output.

anyone experience smoke coming from radiator? suspect either radiator crack or hose leaking .

 

Actually, when your engine hot, then suddenly rain, then you stop at shelter immediately, then its not smoke. its steam (I'm not good at explaining it - you get what I mean?)

then that normal la...

 

Radiator cannot come out smoke one... no combustion. :nono:

 

check you coolant level a.s.a.p. - just in case.

hi guys, ytd encounter a weird problem with my bike, when i riding, the speedometer will suddenly 2 sweep and den on and off den all my time all these are resetted.

Voltmeter recently shows a decrease in voltage when throttle, but when i didnt throttle there is no problem, speedometer wont off and on by itself. Bike still working all right.

 

Is it problem with my rectifier or magnetic coil?

No need to go shop. Look for a 'flower' like knob below your tank. Turn it to adjust your idling according
