Guy just bought a spec1, how do i adjust the clock on my meter? It is on 24hr timing, can i change to 12hr timing? As now the clock is at 1952 but its actually morning...

 

press both button together until the clock starts flashing. then press left button to adjust hr, right button for minute. once done turn your key and switch off the power. and u can't set 12hr timing

Every 5k, i'd change eo,oil filter,spark plugs,top up/flush coolant. If u want to save money then 5k change eo and top up coolant only. 10k can do for my first recommendation.

Hey guys..does changing header gasket improve fc?currently my spec 2 is doing 280km plus reserve..i have done carburator overhaul and most internal items..damn sian liao have to kip topping fuel frequently..all bearing chain sprockets have been change..everyting else is okay..i dun tink 280km plus reserve is normal..nid sum inputs..

bro, I tried pressing both button but the clock doesn't seems to blink... it only reset my trip meter....

You probably need to clean the contact point for the buttons.

Changing header gaskets does help since you've never change before. I've got the same problem as you with my vtec 2 but after changing Ah Pek's special eo and coolant and also I've bought a magnet thingy for the fuel line from bro ekacht my fc improve (320km before reserve).

Check your eo level, could be your battery, spark plugs or even your engine switch is off.

Cb 400 Version with Spec 1-2 signal lights ( with running light always on ) can pass inspection? Consider illegal as original Version S doesn't comes with such signal lights ? Pls advise.

take out seat & tank, pretty straightforward from there. remember to lube the cables before installation! (lube equals many more miles)

Meaning no need to take out the carb? Anyway I cant seem to take out the cable from the handle end.

This is my first post here, so I'm sorry if I ask a stupid question .

I just bought a 2008 CB400 Revo from my friend last month. I want to ask that can my bike have an upper fairing like the CB400 Super Bol D'or ?

Please give me some advice. I really love that fairing but I can't afford the price of a brand new CB400 Super Bol D'or and in my country there's no one sell used bikes (we dont enjoy the "super bol d'or" bikes here).

It's been a couple of days, maybe "Hellever" have had it sorted out. But anyway, in reply to your question:

 

I am using "Monorack by Givi HA4". it fits perfectly, and far away from the shocks. It's higher up position makes it a good anchor for lashing my seat luggage too whenever i go touring. Apparently, Hellever's picstures also show HA4, yet it looks markedly different from mine.

 

Bro. What rack model you using that runs above the side fairing? Care to share?

im using giv hr4m rack, currently change it to a sengkwang customised stainless steel rack. Before that went to unique to resolve the problem but didnt solved it at all, to save the trouble i jus go and customise a rack. Did have some "issues" over at unique, dont wish to elaborate. They should know it themselves

 

anyway unique did put spacers at the screw area of the ohlins to the frame, but making it worst as i have a new scar onto the part. Therefore did not solved it and rather making a new mark on it
