sian man, wtf man . . . i keep having this problem, suddenly the bike behave like no fuel. after that push to shoulder, crank awhile, hold throttle abit and start can liao, but can feel sluggish, throttle liao majiam no fuel go in

 

2nd time liao . . both of the time the fuel bar left 2 bar, dont know whats wrong man, seems to be working fine after that. is that water in fuel? no right, cause water will sink in first, and will experience in the morning right?

Maybe fuel pump not working well liao.

How time flies...

 

Big is certainly a warning but small can be downright scary! Never underestimate the effectiveness of small.

Bought a 2nd hand S4 vtec3 (2006 ver) like 2wks ago, for two days in a row my engine stalled when i dropped to neutral gear at traffice light. then got problem starting the engine. Can someone tell me wats the problem with the bike? the spark plugs are new.. isit because of rain (been raining at night), battery or other problems..? what other things that i need to check on about 2nd hand bike? please help.. thank you!

Check your vacuum tube. Its a small tube that is connected to your fuel tap under the tank from the left hand side engine block behind.

 

2)

 

If you have recently taken out your tank, take it out again and pull out the smaller tube stuck under it..this tube is a fuel tank breather tube. If starved..you get the problem you are encountering as describe. Next time cannot start again or you are starve off fuel again, just open the tank cap and see if you hear a hissing sound..if there is..its that tube I'm talking about that is starving off fuel.

The problem has been like this for about a days...have been riding the bike for a year and there wasnt any problem before...i have problem dropping gear..When im riding and regardless of the gear i wunt be able to drop gear,like the gear lever became 'soft' i have to kick down atleast 10 times before if can drop gear,bt i have no problem going up gear..even if the bike stall and i wanna drop gear is still soft...i cant figure out the problem...ive change clutch cable,change EO,change clutch plate...even adjust my clutch lever far and near but still the same and when i up gear the 'tok' sounds louder then normal..could it be the gear shaft? ive already try changing wat i though could be the problem..if there's anyone who know or has been through the same problen please share...

ive change clutch cable,change EO,change clutch plate...even adjust my clutch lever far and near but still the same.

 

adjust biting point again, if not let a mech to retify the problem

i have the similar prob also.. but not everytime... can try like half clutch and full clutch in when prob arrives...

its has nothing to do with the biting point or how far or near the bitting point is...even when the bike stall and i move it back and front abit so that i can find the neutral gear the foot gear lever is soft...wat is making me worried is that when im riding and need to slow down besides only using the brakes i'll use engine braking but i wuld be able to drop gear....

hi guys i am riding a version s..i heard about 'operating' the header resulting in louder sound with the stock pipe yet passing inspection as the restricter is removed from the header, allowing free flow of air.can i get more details on this?as in where to get it done and the price and things like that?thanks.

can be done at sengkwang.. 200++ close to 300 if i am not wrong..

anyone have tried fixing a spec 2 OR version S rear disc brake onto a spec 1 rim? does it fit? i found offer for a spec 2 and version S rear disc but dunno if it fits spec 1 rim. Need some help here... thanks!! =)

Hey bro.. only last night i realise that my speedo is not moving and remains at 0km/h through the expressway. but my rpm and fuel gauge are working normally. so when i reach home, i found out that there is this cable connect near the disc brake actually became loose or become super long that it will be grinding my rims or even touches the ground.. anyone encounter this problem before? and mind telling me what shld i do next? contact me at 90234818 Alvin! thanks! btw i'm riding ver.s

fix back the speedometer cable and contonue riding....if cannot then dismantle the other end located at ur speedometer....coil it up, put it in ur box/bag/back pocket etc and ride to ur nearest friendy bike shop....

i can say the long line is already broken,must get replacement.hehe but do try to fix it back who noes ,you are still in luck of saving your $$$$:cry:

front disc - Spec 1, 2 and 3 cannot be fitted on Ver S..

 

rear disc - all version are the same..

Vtec series uses sensor for speedo.. price is alright for changing of sensor as it's a lot of hard work to replace it..

Vtec cant open doesnt link with speedo sensor.. you might wanna check your vtec sensor..
