alternatively, if you like black ones, do look up blueflame satin black version or moriwaki.

i believe there are many more options than what we can think of here.. cos many other brands are not legal here.. eg 2 brothers, beet etc.

So many options and hard to make a decision. Thanks for all your help. I'll keep you guys updated as to what I get and post pics when done.

currently riding spec 2..

Want to change to a 1st hand spec 3 (if any) but still under installment..

can i just trade in or i still need to pay e remaining installment den trade in?? abit confused on this part.. (really needs help with this)

i'm left with 18mths to go for the installment..

Current bike having to much problems and it have been e same problems which equates to more $ spent = no aftermarket exhaust!! :)..(problem with carburator)

Advice needed.. thank you..:)

if you trade in your old bike to the shop where you bought from, you no need to pay the remaining.

hey guys, i went to asphoon and asked for a s4. the guy told me its hyper vtec not spec 1.. and theres no powercut.. is there a hyper vtec series? i never heard of it before..anyway,the bike is from bbdc itself..he qoute me 5.5k with ard 4-5yrs coe left with new paintwork. is it worth?

spec 1 is a forum name for hyper vtec. bbdc's bike is about the same as hyper vtec, just that theirs no vtec.

just ask yourself would you want to buy a bike that have nv (or rarely) climbed above 5k rpm. and look at the exterior of the bike, hear the engine etc. if you are comfortable with everything, why not? do check garage sales too.

but bbdc's bike isn't it like....heavily abused? and not to mention most likely, dropped, also?

Sorry, noob question: why is the bbdc bike nv or rarely climb above 5k rpm? If so, what will be the problem that come with it?

I've had a look at the blue flame website and their pipes look actually very good and are very affordable.

From those that have blue flame slip ons are you happy with the sound as it much louder than stock that cars can actually hear you better?

I got quoted on Leo Vince carbon slip on AUD 840 for the pipe alone. IS LV worth twice as much as Blue flame?

I heard both blue flame and moriwaki pipe before. Well i should say i like moriwaki more than blue flame. Moriwaki gives you a deep idling sound. Wherelse Blueflame is kinna more pitchy and Racy sound. You can check out both on youtube too.

When i hear a blueflame i will think of well street punk. When i hear a moriwaki i will think of WOW... PUNK!!!! with umph.... :D

As for performance, well have to dyno it to knw. Its all abt your own choice. But moriwaki full black pipe is RARELY seen :D...

Well that sheds a lot of light on my quest for a pipe. I am after more of a deep idling sound rather than a racy sound ac the cb400 is not a race bike.

I am more after the sound and the looks and the Moriwaki one piece black looks nice. I agree not many moriwaki one piece black pipes on bikes and they look good.

having tried micron, yoshi, gpr, scorpion and heard leo vince, 2 bros, laser, blueflame, moriwaki..

for street legal (end can only) here i would choose micron or probably blueflame.

illegal ones there's too many to choose.

before i sold my cb400 the exhaust i really wanted was a moriwaki full system..

If I'm not wrong Yoshi also makes a deep idling sound. But yoshi is more common.

Instead of paying AUD 840 for only a LV end pipe may as well pay an extra 100 and get the Moriwaki full black system.

5k is just a number, what i am trying to imply is that the engine is not being exercised at all. it becomes like a lawnmower. in the long term its not good for the engine. just my perception, i might be wrong.
