You got the prices right, a new one on the road would easily cost you up to 16k. From your description, I presume you are getting a stock bike and being 2 years in age, I think the price is reasonable. You need to look into factors such as to track history or past accidents, etc. don't forget considering the milleage as well. All else is reasonable..

if you're open to my opinions, I recommend you look at supermoto.sg under the bikes for sale cat. It's easier to get a bigger picture out of the bike you're gonna purchase if you have a 1-1 dealing with the previous owner rather than a bike shop. I suppose one is able to tell alot about the bike by looking at the previous owner. But of course that is just my 5 cents worth and i'm just a nobody. cheers!

i dunno the price went up? few mths back i checked with BP the bike's 13.5k OTR w/o IU machine. and im below 21. dun think insurance can jack up till so much. Do you wanna go around and check other shops' prices first?

IMO, 2 yrs 9.8k not worth it if stock or w/ lil cosmestics/accessories.

do let us know abt the blings/accessories available before we can tell if its worth the price, IN OUR OPINIONS only may differ from people to people.

Its 2 years plus old with full system carbon yoshimura cone end, steel break line, Nice graphic sticker and some new fender and head light. power..... The sound is marvelous when i tried to start it. This is my 1st time getting a scrambler or mortard. hehehe I need to down grade from 600cc to 400cc cos my wife also want to use the bike and dont have class 2.

Oh ya!!! the mileage is 15k plus.

it's quite reasonable for $9.8k..

graphics are cheap.. i would prefer the OEM headlight than KTM or Acerbis ones thou..

check the carburetor too.. it maybe a FCR..

maybe ask for a new set of tires too??

Posted
Check the caburetor for what? Give me example?

Btw what is FCR?

Yup I ask for new front tire, The back 1 still new.

see if its stock CARB or aftermarket CARB bro. er FCR 39 http://www.google.com.sg/imglanding?imgurl=http://home.arcor.de/Kasche-Cottbus/adv/fcr39.JPG&imgrefurl=http://picsicio.us/keyword/keihin%2520fcr39/&h=533&w=800&sz=180&tbnid=Tvl-6P-kcG--2M:&tbnh=95&tbnw=143&prev=/images%3Fq%3DFCR%2B39&zoom=1&q=FCR+39&usg=__InNdweF58MCKbYXo8-xS7F5kmR4%3D&sa=X&ei=jGvFTN6tEYeGvgP5kLy7CA&ved=0CCsQ9QEwBQ

gt this red like tubes unlike the normal stock carb. better performance/power. lower FC ofc.

15k mileage is good **** bro.

yoshi tri oval or the new yoshi cyclone oval cone? price difference i think 300+ for brand new between this two. well yes the sound is marvelous coming from a yoshi. haha wait till u try a stock end can, u will be shocked at the difference. headlight+fender i believe is ktm one but whether its the 07' model and below or the 08 and above one. No difference just cosmetics differences.

check with the seller/shop if pair removal, 3x3 is done ( which shld be done normally since got aftermarket exhaust right, guys?)?

any MCCT, manual cam chain tensioner installed.

MCCT - please refer to the pics provided. does it look the same as yours? if yes then yours is MCCT installed. :p

Thanks guys for the help. Today afternoon jus got the bike. It feel weird riding it. cos used to ride sport and road bike only....

I check it still using the original chain tensioner. Have not taken out the seat to check the 3x3 mod. Still running the OEM caburator.(But dont know if the

previous owner got do JETTING.)

Btw the how to know the fuel valve show reserve and main? When i turn the Tap. The long tap should touch the MAIN to indicate that the

fuel taken is not from reserve rite? I think, the first mod that i am going to do ThumperTalk Manual Cam Chain Tensioner.

$90 with installation rite.

Whats your mileage per thank full not including reserve?

it's a 2 year bike.. you might consider changing your cam chain too..

you can install the MCCT to find out whether if your cam chain is loose; if the MCCT needs to be screw in a lot, leaving less than what was shown in the pic CraZ_labixx posted, you would need to consider changing it..

for a OEM fuel tap, it's 3 way..

Main for using main tank..

RES to switch to reserve when Main is out..

PRI means prime, when switched to this, petrol will flow out without the need of vaccum..

Stock carb reaps abt 30km/L, main is 7 litres, so abt 200KM before you need to switch to reserve..

wah 1 year + already liddat? oO kinda of fast.

mine is change the whole timing chain, cos like urs the mcct tighten to max liao cannot go any tighter. so when i hit 45-50k i changed it. cost me like 280 at magic motowerkz. other places i think slightly more than that man

that being said, dont count on it hitting 200km sometimes :p cos for me i whack a lot initially when i got the bike so lowest i went was 137km before reserve on STOCK CARB wth xD. so far the best i gt was 175km before reserve. :)
