guess that's it. for mine, it comes wif a scorpion fs, 3x3 n rejetted (i guess cos it feels ok, no unnecessary backfire n the endcan doesn't feel too hot). i just chgd the air filter to aftermarket n now it feels more breathable n it now sounds different. n of cos, i just chgd to mcct. now the bike feels different. response is better by just opening the throttle n it feels like ready to go.......

 

btw, do we hv to retune after chging to aftermarket air filter?

As for my 2 stroke knowledge im pretty sure after change aftermarket air filter u gonna rejet to a bigger jet size .. More air in , bigger jets .. or it will run lean causing backfires..Tats for a 2 stroke lah .. aint sure for a drz la .. quite new to this bike too ... correct me if im wrong ..

Be humble on the road at all times coz u'll neva noe wen u need any rider's help...

well, biting_point n raptor. ur words hv said enuff. that's wat my logic is, too much air will not build the correct pressure for the correct mixture. it's like free flow of air, well, a free flow of beer will make a man drunk so a free flow of air will make a bike bloated...heeheh...i dunno if that's relevant. well, enuff said. i hope we all learn from here. it may look nice n cool to have holes on the sideboard with wire gauze but then, it just look nice i guess......thxs for sharing....:thumb:

 

actually if you wanna try if holes in your airbox cover is better or worse..

you can just take the cover out then go for a spin..

 

the sound will be louder with airbox cover removed.. throttle feel wise, you gonna judge yourself..

2- can motard make lower to match my height?

3- the price of a 2nd hand motard now?

4- shop to get a good motard with reasonable price? ( best is east side )

5- the insurance of 2nd party of just pass 2A and 21 year old?

6- the price of the pipe? yoshi or gpr or others?

 

hmms quite alot to ask but hope you guys can help me out. =D thanks~

1- the min height?

the bike's seat to ground height is abt 90cm..

you can always adjust the preload settings or

cut the seat to "lower" the bike..

2- can motard make lower to match my height?

there are lowering links available in the market for sale..

IMO, there's no need for it unless you are really short..

3- the price of a 2nd hand motard now?

price differs a lot from year to year and the amount of accessories..

can range from abt $8k to even $15k for a 2yr old bike..

say a stock 1 yr old bike from shop would be in the range of $10k..

4- shop to get a good motard with reasonable price? ( best is east side )

if you are looking at buying from shop, AS Phoon or the shops at Ubi and the new Kaki Bukit Autobay are good places to start with..

5- the insurance of 2nd party of just pass 2A and 21 year old?

my guess would be roughly $800..

gonna call up NTUC to confirm..

6- the price of the pipe? yoshi or gpr or others?

Yoshi is the most expensive.. selling at abt $1.8k..

GPR, Scropion Full system is abt $850..

is it illegal to convert a wr200 to a sm?

 

you can always send it for inspection after you convert..

 

most likely will pass as road tyres are generally more safe than offroad tyres..

 

you might wanna check with LTA for more details..

i see, thats what my friends told me too. i was told not a to get a 2b motard since i plan to go all out to class 2, a friend told me to just get a off road and convert it. he also said it shouldn't be a problem with inspections. thanks bro for your info. :thumb:

dun worry abt the height bro..u'll get used to it .

i'm only 160cm:thumb:.

 

and didn't even alter anything to lower it down.. only some adjustments to my rear suspension for my own comfort . but still, i tiptoe on 1 leg :cheeky:
